Feel free to search these terms. All will be related to cricket....And don't worry if ur not a cricket person coz the terms used are not complicated to understand.
Now without anymore delay lets begin.....

"Come on guys. Edan, you propel first!" I enjoined as everyone took their locale on the ground. Ryan was standing on strike, all ready with his bat to hit a six, I guess.
Edan took the ball and stood next to me. Then running a bit back he rubbed his feet a bit on the ground and then, came running forward with the ball, paused, a bit in front of me but making sure behind the crease, and threw the ball. It was a bouncer. Ryan hit the ball and it went flying in the air.
I raised both my hands indicating a six.
"Edan. Try out a swing." I suggested as he grabbed the ball thrown by Sarah from the side of ground.
He nodded and obeyed. But Ryan hit this one too and the ball went out of boundary rolling on the ground.
I brought my hand in level to my stomach and moved it from left to right to indicate a four!
He was playing really well.
Six overs not out with seven sixes and eight fours. This was deranged.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Ryan was playing so adeptly. I was really influenced but didn't demonstrate it. This was not the precise time to express my feelings. Plus, I was not in the mood to show that I was flattered by his skills.
"Anyone left to bowl? You can try once more." Ryan clamoured from his place beaming.
I hadn't expected him to stay not-out for six overs.
All the best bowlers had tried all they could to take down his wicket but he was damn good. I still couldn't believe that Edan was not able to take his wicket and gave up after three overs.
"Samaira. Give it a try." Edan said panting.
I was not sure about it. I am excellent in football and even basketball. But cricket, I am not that good at it. I am a batsman in the team and bowling is totally not my thing.
I can bowl well but I was pretty sure it was nothing in front of Edan and others. And Ryan, I will never be able to take his wicket. In fact he would hit six sixes at my bowling.
"No. You know, I'm not that good at bowling. If it would be batting I would have given it a try." I debated.
"Come on! We are all exhausted and we need to take down his wicket. Now only you are left. Just one over, give it one chance. Tire him. Think Samaira. You always find a way. Play a mind game with him like you always do to save us when our win is quite not possible." Edan explained.
It is true that I play with mind on the ground. That is what makes me different from others and the reason why I was the captain in cricket even if I am just a good batsman and an average bowler. In football and basketball whenever our win is quite not possible, we play with trick, like confusing the player or distracting(in fair terms) them. We play in such a way that the player thinks something is going to happen, but what happens is exact opposite. For example, behave like you are going to turn left but instead you turn right exact at the moment and the opposing party either panicks or gets confused.
