"What are you doing in my room young chap! You're supposed to knock and come." I asked aghast by his sudden ingress.

He had set foot in my room so soundlessly that I had been heedless of his attendance.

"Oh. Come on! Doors are meant to be tapped when they are bolted. And in your case, It was unlatched. So I came in. Now don't change the topic." He spoke indiscreetly.

"You should ask for pardon." I decreed.

I arose from the bed and sat legs crossed facing Simmie. He got up up too and emulated my position facing me.

"Fine. I'm sorry. I promise to enter by knocking hereafter. Now what's your rejoinder to my prophecy of your intimacy towards Ryan." He queried.

"You're speaking balderdash. Why would I be fond of that guff. By the way, why do you think I have tenderness for that blarney." I questioned.

I was appalled at his unforseen entry. I had opened my eyes with a trauma and my stomach lurched and twitched. My heart was pounding fast and gave loud thumps. I felt so edgy. My cheeks had reddened and my eyes manifested panic.

"Your eyes demonstrate it siso. I know it. I perceived you all over the trek and the way you gaped at him divines your intimacy for him. When he left the car and waved you goodbye your cheeks reddened. You yourself didn't grasp that. He asked us to come in for tea and you wanted to join. But you repudiated it coz you were anxious." He described.

He was veracious. But I didn't want to accede with him. I wanted to wrong him but why the hell didn't I have any answer.

He looked so assured and his eyes were so certain that I couldn't think of any excuse or brawny rationale.

But, why did I require any excuse. I know I don't love Ryan. And I am sure about it. I guess.

"No. You're wrong my brother. I don't love him. He's a halfwit and I don't fall in for loosers okay! Now Go! I need a nap." I ordered confidently.

He was reluctant and wanted to debate but I lied down on the bed and turned my face opposite to the side of his. He remained for some seconds and then got down to go.

"Close the door on your way and remember to knock the next time." I instructed without even facing him.

"Okay. But mark my words Siso! There is something that has arose in your heart for Ryan and very soon you'll agree with me. Time will show. Then we'll see who's right and who wrong!" He forecasted confidently.

"Yaah...We'll see! Close the door please. Good night!" I wished him boringly and dozed off.

There was a loud bang of the door being shut! Simmie had left. I was too tired to think upon his words. I needed sleep. I was extremely tired. My eyes drooped and I drowned in the ocean of dreams.

"Samaira. Are you awake sweety, open the door." the outlying voice of Mum approached my ears. I slowly opened my eyelids and got up. I scrutinized the clock. It was 6 pm.

What! I had slept for 3 hours.

"Sweety. You there?" Mum knocked the door this time a bit concerned.

"Ye..Yes Mum. I'm up. The door is open. You can come in." I spoke.

Mum opened the door and came in.
"Finally up! You've been sleeping for two hours dear. Come and have food. You haven't eaten anything after coming from school. Dad's here. Come!" She spoke gently and went downstairs.

I cleansed my face and then went downstairs for food. I hadn't realized by now that I was extremely hungry.

My stomach gave a loud grumble to showcase my hunger. I felt feeble. I hadn't had anything for lunch and had played basketball for forty minutes and plus had directly come to sleep without having anything to eat again. I could swallow even a piece of stone at the moment.
