chapter 8

Chris

      I have decided to keep them. The baby's. They may not be happy with me, but I can't think about living without them. Even if I've never met my baby's. The names will be Piper, Luke Jr, and  Chase. The Apollo children said I have a week to go. I'm so excited but scared. What if they die? My thoughts are intruded by a man walking in my cabin.

"Dad?"

"Hello my child. I have brought news."

"What is it?"

"Well there's a couple of things but first I'm going to talk to you about your lives. You are a child of anubis so you will have three lives since death always come easily to my kids. Since you have died before you only have two. Next, I have brought my son so you guys can talk. I have to leave now I have a meeting."

"Nice talking to ya." I say sarcastically. I was never a conversation person ether so i cant blame him. A boy who looks 18 walks in.

"My name is Jake. I know your name is Christina so you don't have to tell me. Father sent me hear to help you. I have one life left I know you were going to ask that so don't even denie it. Your children will be born human but since they will be raised with greeks, romans, Egyptians, etc they will show signs of there animal spirit sooner . I will help you raise your children since the father is dead. I also will help you with your two animal spirits." I open my mouth to speak but that's as far as i get.

"Father tells me. I'm the only relative that's living with him. When I say leave me alone I mean leave me alone. You understand me?" Dang he's good. The last sentence brings back memories of... him. My lower lip starts to tremble.

"Uh please don't cry I don't like tears. If you cry I cry. Al-lso i-i can te-ll wh-at your fea-li-ng." He says tearing up as he speaks. I hug him.

"Don't cry Jake. I'm not crying see, it's just when you finished your sentence you reminded me of my ex-mate." He stiffened.

"No one has ever hugged me before." Aww how sad. I pull him in a tighter hug.

"Ok your going to make me loose my last life."

"Sorry. I just never had a sibbling before." we end up talking all night skipping super. No one dares to come question the pregnant girl who is the daughter of the God of death.

    As I am about to fall asleep I here howling. My wolf/bird whimpers. It just had to be him didn't it? Fates your so cruel. Go away now please. I just have to see him though. I jump out of bed and walk to the door. There he is so close yet so far. Not to be cheesy. Jace is talking to Chiron. He looks pailer, and angrier. Maybe even slimmer. He basically growls every word. Just five minutes in I can tell he's cruel now. Well crueler. His eyes are always black. He sniffs the air. Jace pauses and his eyes turn back to normal. He looks my way. And runs and grabs me in a hug. It's only been a month. Why dose he care about me? He looks at my stomach then growls like his mother was killed.

"I know it's not mine. Who's is it?" He growls his eyes turning blacker than night.

"Like I would tell you." I growled back. Suddenly he's ten foot away from me.

"Are you ok? Did he hurt you?" Jake ask. Everyone is out now watching us. When Jace sees Jake he growls even louder than before.

"Is that him?!" He says, implying that me and my brother had done it. I break out laughing.

"No! Thats my sister your talking to! Thanks to you her children's father is dead. I've met him."

"You had steak with Luke!"

"At least he wasn't a murderer!" He's about to say something when a gasp falls out of my mouth. A horrible pain goes threw my stomach. Oh Gosh, oh Gosh, I'm in labor! Jake grabs me stedying me. Jace trys to help but jake shooed him away. He picks me up and gently Lys me on the bed. I'm so scared!

Two baby's later.

    I'm pushing for my third baby chase. He's going to be the worst. I'm so tired I can barely hang on. I can't tell anyone that though. A head pops out. I see Jace peak in. I'm to tired to argue. I scream one last time when the hole baby comes out. The people tell me to rest that I have had a rough night. Everyone is looking at my children. Even my Jace. Wait! Did I just call him mine? I did. I see now how every thing he has done was for me. I'm about to tell him when the light starts to turn dark. I'm too tired. Maybe I'll take a nap then tell him. My heart slows. Good that means I'm relaxed. I closed my eyes and take a final breath.

Jace

    I have to come to that stupid camp. The only reason I had agreed to help them as because I had gotten my mate back and i felt like I was in a generous mood. Well now I regret it. My ex-mate no, I won't call her that. She will always be mine. My mate had actually rejected me. She had stormed off and I stood there like a statue. I had been to shocked to follow her. I should have. I really miss her. I almost tear up, but i wipe away my feelings. I can't be sensitive. I'm going to be the meanest alpha there is. We reach the border.

"Who are you?" The boy snarled. I growl.

"I'm suppose to be hear to help you but since it looks like you don't need me I'll leave."

"Wait stop! Follow me." The boys leads me to a centar. He speaks but i don't realy listen. My wolf was trying to tell me something.

"Sniff!"( uh weird) My wolf commanded. I did. One sniff was all it took to know she is here.

     I run to her and hug her. Only now had I noticed. Her belly. My wolf took control instedly. I didn't know what was happening but that my wolf is mad. I finally get back in control when they are leading her away. She's in labor! I pause. What do I do? If I go will i hurt her baby's? I just jog to her anyways. She's already at he third child. Chris looks slightly tired, but that didn't worry me. The baby comes out. The doctor tells her to rest. I agree. haveing three kids at once would be hard. All our attention locates to the baby's.

"I wouldn't be surprised if these were Aphrodite kids." They are beautiful. Though they have vamp blood. Then something happens. The doctors start panicking.

"Save him! We can't let her wake up to a dead baby!" One of the doctors shouts.

"I'm sorry I'm afraid it's to late."

"Dairy it!" I look at the dead baby. It's Chase. The poor baby is dead. I wonder what Chris will do when she wakes up. I look at her. Her lips... there blue. Should that be there color? My wolf screams at me. I know that feeling. I had felt it once before. My beautiful mate is dead.

"Your focusing so much on those dack baby's you don't even notice that Chris is dead!" I growl at them. They look at me than Chris. The next moment Jake is in front of Chris.

"Man now she only has one left." One what left? Baby? There's still two. Wow maybe hes dumber than he looks.

"Well Chris had three lives but she's already used two." He explains.

"It will take 9 hours for her to awake." It didn't feel right. For her to be dead then just wake up like it's normal. Meanwhile though we have to do Chases funeral. But we have to wait til she comes awake.
