"What the hell happened? Where were you Y/n? It's been like two hours! " Asks Ephemer worried.
"Wait... what? For me it was like maximum 30 minutes!"
Fuck, I may had been away more than I thought, now what the fuck I do?
Brain gets near me and start looking at me suspiciously, like I did something wrong or I'm a bad person. He's kinda freaking me out a little, but before he could say something Ven runs up to me and jumps at me to hug me, throwing me to the ground.
"You're ok, right? The data world had disappeared from the monitor after Ephemer arrived without you and we didn't know what to do. We were so worried!"
I smile a little at him, I have to admit he does look like a puppy.
"Yeah Ven I'm fine, don't worry" I says while I start to pat his head. "But I have no idea why the world disappeared from the monitor, or why the time difference" while saying this I turn to look at Brain, since this part more for him than the others two.
In the meantime I could feel Ven melting under my touch, making me realize that we're still on the floor.
"Ehm... Ven? Can you get off of me please? The floor is not really that confortable, you know?"
"Oh yeah! Sorry..." he says getting off of me and helping me get up, while a small blush appears on his face...
I never get blushes and the embarrassing tension thing, like is dumb... really dumb... why people make things like this such a big deal and a must I'll never know... (a/n I think I've should point out that in this story you're gonna be aroace aka asexual and aromantic, in case you're wondering and feel free to ask me any questions!) Anyway after getting up Brain starts speaking.
"Maybe it's better if we don't include Y/n in our future missions for a while, right Ephemer?"
"*sigh* maybe you're right... after what happened today, we aren't going to take risks... sorry Y/n..." Eph says morified.
"It's alright, it's best if we're more cautious from now on... *sigh* I think I'll go get some sleep, all this shit tired me so much..."
As I go out of the room Brain takes my wrist.
"Hey what the-"
"Don't think you're safe now, you have some fucking explaning to do sooner or later, don't forget that." He whispers in my ear letting my wrist go in the meantime...
I'm fucked... I need to come up with something if I was to escape his suspicions about me and something good!
I arrive to my room, I lay down on my bed trying to stop the worries and the things that happened today from invade my mind as I drift off to sleep.
