Jiro heard a bunch of guys panicking. He stopped and looked behind him to see Chan on the ground, looking unconscious. He didn't say anything to Yanna, he just left the girl and ran towards to where his teammates were trying to wake the boy up. Jiro pushed other guys and knelt down.

"What happened?!" Jiro exclaimed and was trying to carry Chan to bring him to where the clinic was but he felt his blood was boiling.

"Ji, it was an accident."

He heard one teammate said. Jiro glared at him and stood up to pick up a fight. It was his best friend, one of the most important people, who could've been in a much worse situation. Then he'll just hear someone that it was just an accident. He had his fists clenched, wanting to beat up the guy's face. But he was stopped by Jeffrey.

"Jiro, Chan's more important, alright? Leave it."

Jiro groaned so he just dropped it. He went to carry Chan and immediately went inside a department to get him to the clinic. Jeffrey was with him, worried about his friend getting hit by a ball. He was about to save Chan but guess he was too late. Why was he even standing there and looking like he was looking at nothing?

They got into the clinic and asked the nurse check on Chan. Jiro and Jeffrey just stood there, watching at how the nurse was checking up on the boy. Jiro was anxiously waiting, worried about Chan. Jeffrey could see it by his expression. Though he looked really scary, he's just trying to protect the boy.

"What happened, boys?" the nurse asked as she went to the cabinet to grab a few pain relievers when the boy wakes up.

"His head caught the ball," Jeffrey uttered.

"Hm, well, just give these pills for pain relievers for now. If he feels something worse, tell me," she said, "I'll just call his parents to pick him up for the day."

Jiro didn't say anything. He was staring at Chan with his arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed. He was thankful that he's alright. His head didn't bleed and hopefully, he could feel better. His blood was still boiling but he knew Chan will get mad at him for putting up a fight. He could already hear the boy's nags and telling him that fights won't do anything good.

Shaking himself away from his thought, he felt a pat on his shoulders. He looked beside him to look at Jeffrey.

"You good?"

Jiro nodded, "Yeah..."

"He's alright. You don't have to worry," Jeffrey uttered.

The man looked straight at him with a glare, "The fuck would you do if it's Twenty who got hit by that ball? And I'll tell you not to fucking worry even if something worse could've happened?"

"Hey, don't you bring up Twenty here--"

"I bet you're going to do the same. You might punch someone out of nowhere. I'm just also trying to protect someone I care about. So don't tell me not to worry, Jeff."

Jeffrey clenched his hands. Before he could even do something to Jiro, he saw Chan moving and waking up. Both of their attention went to the boy who whimpered in pain.

"Were you two fighting?"

They didn't answer that when they heard Chan asking. Jiro looked away which made Chan knew.

"What did I--"

"Before you nag, drink these first for the pain. Are you alright? Anything that makes you feel discomfort?" Jeffrey asked and gave Chan the medicine and a cup of water.

Chan tried to sit up, with Jiro helping him. He rubbed the part where the ball hit him. It did hurt a bit and it was making him feel dizzy. He drank the medicines before he falls back on the bed.

"My head hurts and it's making me dizzy," Chan uttered.

"Uncle Hyuck will pick you up. You need to rest for the day," the wong said, "I'll ask the professors to excuse you."

The boy nodded, "Thanks Jeff."

Then Chan went over to look at Jiro who was too quiet for his comfort. The man was obviously mad by what happened. He didn't want to nag Jiro for being worried. Also, not to mention, Jiro verbally telling that he cares about Chan. His heart skipped a beat but he has more things to worry about.

"I'll go ahead. I'll call you later, Chan," Jeffrey said.

Chan nodded before the man made his way out. He was then left with Jiro. It was too quiet for them but the boy just stayed on the bed, trying to rest his head from the trauma. Jiro looked over at him and Chan saw him.

"Don't fight, ever, Jiro," Chan said, "You promised about that."

Jiro scratched his nape, "I couldn't help it. What if that was on purpose?"

"I'm fine now. It was my fault for standing there."

The man sighed, "Why were you even standing there? Also, I thought you had a student council meeting."

Chan looked away and hummed as he thought about an answer. He needs an excuse. He didn't want to casually say that he saw him and Yanna talking, and spaced out when felt jealousy and being left out. The boy just shrugged.

"I spaced out since I was thinking about the program for next week. I still have many things to do so I gotta ready myself and start multitasking," Chan answered.

Jiro nodded, looking like he believed in what the boy has said. He then cleared his throat and bent down a bit.

"I...already asked Yanna about going to mall on the weekend and she said yes. She needs to buy some things for decor," Jiro uttered, "As much as I want you to be there, I don't want you to go after what happened."

"You know what, you're a grown man. You can do things without me. Also, you get to have Yanna all by yourself."

Chan would be lying if he didn't get hurt by his own words.
