"What did you have during your time?" You asked your voice still sounding lifeless in a way.

"Well my darling- we didn't have much unlike you...unfortunate souls in present time-" he said and you had gotten used to his dark humor, it made you feel sane somewhat, but you didn't know why.
" Oh.... That sounded like it was pure and boring for the younger ones." You said eating a piece of the jambalaya Alastor had made just 5 minutes ago.

" You didn't have to make more jambalaya "

You said drinking some water and felt your mouth water from the taste and heat.

" Making it fresh taste better-" he said watching you as you drank more water .
" It's spicy! And it's also good! I never had jambalaya this spicy and fresh!" You said eating more of it as Alastor watched you with astonishment.

"What about your family?" You sipped your water an laid back, half of the food eaten on your plate was devoured soon after you asked Alastor and waited for him to answer.
" It's ok if you don't wa-"

" My family wasn't like any others when away from public-" , he spoke after 5-15 minutes while you ate.

" Why Is that?" You said studying him , feeling like you were gonna get killed for your words , seeing his expression change and it scared you but you didn't show any sign.

"How do you think I went to hell darling?"
He said with his head tilted down at you questionably.

"I- I don't know..."
You spoke feeling his eyes Pierce into you.
"Well i was shot " he pointed to his head "I was shot in the head ".
He spoke and your mouth formed an 'O' shape but nothing came out .

"Yes ,yes I know my little fawn it's a lot to take in"- you then felt your face warm from the little nickname but then shook it off remembering your moms nicknames she used to call you. Your eyes stung from the tears that were threatening to come out but you pretended to yawn and rubbed your eyes hiding your sorrow.

" You should rest darling! It's been a long day and the officers were tense ,your dear mother had been deceased ..oh what pain humanity! " he spoke and you slowly got up from the chair.

It was true.

you were tired and had just lost your only family close to you and murdered a guy you went to school with not to long ago.

"Yea I should " you said putting the dirty dishes in the sink while you asked Alastor to lock the doors and windows.
You walked upstairs breathing hard and deep feeling like you were gonna collapse any minute. You climbed the rest of the stairs and finally made it to your room.
Throwing yourself on the bed, Alastor had sat down on the chair in your room watching you as you slowly we're about to fall asleep then your phone vibrated.

You groaned as you got up and picked up your phone on the dresser infront of your bed 5 feet away,
" ughh not now" you said reading the text from your friend and then texted her back
Sitting on the bed.

(F/n): My mom's friend found your mom at her mom's place.....dead. I'm so sorry I wish I could be there with you but I'm a thousand miles away :(((

You tried to make yourself look real over text messing up the words like you were in a hurry.

(F/n): she was an amazing kind woman and like a 2nd! No...3rd mom to me.AND PLEASE DONT HURT YOURSELF!

You felt your face an it was soaked in tears . I was crying? I didn't even notice, you thought to yourself getting up and putting your phone back on the dresser charging.

"Who where you talking to my darling?-" , Alastor said as you bumped into him while you were turning around ready to spring back to your bed.
