the party (finally) - chapter 5

I added a song because it's been stuck in my head recently and I think it kinda has party vibes so enjoy! :)

Hinata's POV

I get in the car and start scrolling through Instagram, to see a picture of shirtless Kageyama... Posing near a beach. I almost drop my phone as I realize I had just liked the post. "EEEE WHY?!!?" I say as I facepalm myself. I think, 'I might as well just not unlike it since it already went through...' as I slyly add it to my favorites. I tell my mom the directions of Kageyama's friends house, as I realize it's fairly close to mine.

We arrive at the house, I get out, waving my mom goodbye as she gives me a thumbs up and I laugh. I take a deep breath as I knock on the door. A shaved-headed 2nd year opens the door saying, "OI, KAGEYAMA! YOUR BOYFRIEND IS HERE!" He says as he laughs and lets me inside the house.

As soon as I step inside, I'm bombarded with the sound of loud party music and people talking. There weren't many people there, but enough for about 4 people in each room. There was a shag carpet with a large television and a sofa.

I walk a few steps to see Kageyama walking down the stairs to punch his friend in the shoulder saying, "Shut up, Tanaka you're such a dumbass." He walks over to me and smiles saying, "Hi! glad you made it, sorry about him he's a piece of crap sometimes." I laugh and say, "It's okay, thanks for inviting me!"

"No problem! You want a drink? There's some milk in the fridge." Kageyama says while holding a glass of milk. "I think I'll just have some punch." I say, as I walk around a group of people to get a cup of what looks like Kool-Aid, and smells like alchohol. I drink it anyway and go on my way to walk around and see what people are doing around the house.

My vision gradually keeps getting blurry and I keep laughing for no reason as I walk around the house and drink from the cup. I stop to dance where the music is loudest, not knowing what I'm doing.

About 15 minutes pass as I hear a deep recognizable voice from behind me. I turn around to see Kageyama. "Hinata, *laugh* what in the hell are you doing? *laugh*" Kageyama says covering his mouth as he laughs. "I'M DANCING STUPIDYAMAAAA!" I say louder than I needed to. I hug him tightly around his stomach as he says, "Hey you need to drink some water, you're getting way too drunk, Hinata."

"WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TOOO?" I say with a surprised face. "Well, you NEED to. I don't want to have to make you." He says as he gives me the water. I take the water and I dump it on my head saying, "Look, I'm hydrated now!" I laugh and continue dancing.

Kageyama picks me up and brings me to the kitchen, putting me on the counter. He pours a cup of water and hands it to me saying, "LOOK WOW IT'S MORE BOOZE YOU SHOULD DRINK IT!" He says with a fake surprised face. "WAIT REALLYYY GIVE IT HERE!" I say as I grab the water and chug it down.

"Wait, HEYYY THIS IS WATER?" I say with a pouty face. "Yep! I said I would have to make you drink it *laugh*" He says while he picks me up, unintentionally touching my butt. I blush and say "AYE PAPI DON'T DO THAT HERE! WERE IN PUBLIC!" He laughs extremely loud and says, "Okay, give me your phone so I can call your mom. *laugh*"

~time skip~

My mom gets to the house and Kageyama carries me outside as my mom says, "Oh, hi! you must be Kageyama! Hinata has said a lot about you!" She says smiling big. Kageyama puts me in the car and says, "Oh, he has? When he wakes up, tell him I had to carry him around the house because he wouldn't let go of me!" Kageyama says laughing.

"Okay, I'll make sure to!" My mom says back, also laughing. "Thank you for watching him, he can be uncontrollable sometimes." My mom says, laughing again. She Starts the car as I wake up to see Kageyama waving goodbye from outside the car. I scream, "WAIT!" As I get out of the car and give him a big hug. Then, before he can say anything, I get back in the car and drive off.

This Part was 771 words! Wow! I wasn't expecting such a long story, but this was fun to write haha I hope you enjoyed!
