Chapter 4

Edward's POV

Oh my god. She said hybrid. She used the word hybrid. Oh god no. My mate is half vampire, this is not good. Oh lord help me. Our pack can't have a luna that is half vampire.

I looked at her and a confused face looked between me and Leo who had clearly also just realised that she is a hybrid!
"you're a hybrid. You are a fucking hybrid. Why would the moon goddess do this to me. I saw a look of hurt flash across her face but she quickly covered it up.
" okay no need to go on about it, clearly you are an Arrogant dick so shouldn't I be asking the moon goddess why i have been mated to you" she snarled those words and I felt a pain in my chest. How dare she speak to an alpha like that!
"come on little girl, we are going to the pack house" I used my alpha voice and Leo's wolf flinched slightly but she didn't move

"why should I go anywhere with you, and if I am such an abomination then why don't you just leave me out here?"
I grabbed her arm and led her through the woods, with Leo at her other side still in wolf form. I was beyond pissed off now, my mate is not only a hybrid and a runt, but she is also blatantly disrespectful.
" you are going to stay here until you turn 18,only then can I reject you. Don't take it personally though, it's only because you are half vampire."

A hand quite suddenly connected with my face, and I realised that she just punched me, AND broke my nose! I growled at her and let my fangs extend.
" bitch you are going to regret doing that"
She stood up taller and her eyes shone a bright blue which made Leo gasp.
"I am no vampire hybrid, and don't you ever say that I am again okay. Those creatures are monstors and i may be a runt but I am no monster" she growled each word out so angrily that Leo, a beta, cowered down to the floor in submission.
"what the fuck are you then? And what did you do to my beta? Leo need not submit to a runt, especially when he knows that i am going to reject you"

Leo's POV

I submitted, she is an alpha. She must be, and i love her already. Edward is pretty angry and i know he wants to shift, so i mind linked him

'hey Edward why don't you tell her to shift and we can run to the pack house in wolf forms?'

He nodded to my and i lay down, waiting for them to both shift. Edward's voice boomed towards her, making me thankful i was already lying down.
"shift now, we are going to run there"
To my great suprise she didn't disobey, instead she knelt to the floor. I was wondering what she was doing, surely the clothes will tear. I was about to mind link Edward about this but she already shifted. For about 3 seconds there was the sounds of snapping bones but when i looked up, was the most magnificent wolf I have ever seen.

Her fur was completely white, from the tip of her tail to the point of her ears. Breathtaking. Her eyes were glowing a light sky blue color.

I took a step towards her but was met with a growl from Edward who had also shifted.
'leo it's getting late, stop admiring my mate so we can get back to the pack house'
I whined slightly but we all took off running.
When we arrived it was very late and the moon was our only source of light. Before we left the woods we all shifted back completely naked. I saw the girl- Hayley, mumble a few words and all of a sudden all 3 of us were dressed.
"Oh my god, you are a witch hybrid!!!!!" my girlish squeals were cut short when her hand clamped over my face, all the while Edward just stood there speechless. I licked her hand, expecting to i gross her out but she calmly removed her hand and whispered in my ear
" I've been told i taste pretty nice, but I guess that's up to you to decide" my face went slightly pink and my jaw dropped. This is the alphas mate, you can't fall for the alphas mate.

Edward was glaring daggers at us both, then he walked into the pack house and we followed. It was late and everyone was asleep so nobody knew we were there.
Edward spoke up first
"Leo, show her to room 3 please. That is where she will stay- alone"
I rolled my eyes but quickly obeyed. Room 3 is the smallest in the house and it has no windows. I walked up the stairs with her following and opened the the door for her. She thanked me and sat down on the bed without complaining.
"I'm sorry about this room, Edward is a jerk but you know how it goes with alphas"
She sighed and shook her head
"Unfortunately I do, but this room is fantastic, I mean it even has a bathroom! "
She quietened down a little "I know I have no right to ask you this, but do you think you could maybe keep the whole witch/werewolf thing quiet?"
