“Mason, get out of Diana’s tree!” I yelled up at Mason.

Diana invited me and the twins around to catch up with herself and Kenny, he took one look at the twins and new they are his grandkids. Mason, Madison, Diana, Kenny and I were all out in the backyard cooking burgers on the barbeque.

Kenny wasn’t angry that I kept the twins a secret, he understood what I thought was best for my children. Mason and Madison doesn’t know that Diana and Kenny are also their grandparents; we decided not to tell them until Noah knew about his children.

“Addison, the twins are just, there are no words to describe them. With only a few hours of knowing them I love them already. You definitely done everything right.” Kenny told me with so much honesty.

I nodded and smiled, “thank you so much Kenny.”

“Momma, tell Mason to stop being such a boy! He won’t help me dress my dolly.” Madison huffed, running from the end of the garden.

“Kids, behave.” I scolded, “come up here and eat.”

Mason and Madison sat in between Kenny and Diana with me opposite them, Kenny and Diana smiled down at the twins; even a blind man could see the love in their eyes.

We finished dinner, the twins wanted me to play with them in the garden. Madison gave me the puppy dog face; I couldn’t say no.

Mason, Madison and myself was playing tag, and trust me; these kids are competitive. Just like their daddy. Within five seconds of the game they both had me pinned down, Madison sitting on my belly and Mason sitting on my legs.

We were all laughing, “alright guys you got me,” I told them as I struggled to get up.

Madison looked at Mason and raised her eyebrows, “so Captain Mason, what should we do with the prisoner?”

He looked back at her with a certain glint in his eye, “tickle war.”

Noah’s POV.

I knocked on the door of my parents house, it was a cute little house. A typical country house with a white picket fence and a tree in the front yard, mom answered the door, she looked surprised to see me.

“Oh Noah,” she looked behind herself quickly and smiled up at me, “I didn’t know you were coming.” she said nervously.

“What do I need an invitation to come and visit my gorgeous mother?” I asked kissing her cheek and making my way through the house to the kitchen.

My dad was standing by the backdoor smiling at something, “Hey dad.”

He jumped back startled, his eyes widened a fraction before going back to normal , “Son, I didn’t know you was coming round,” he told me.

“What’s up with people tellin’ me that? Can’t I come and visit my wonderful parents.”

“Of course, good to see you.” he said giving me a man hug.

I heard giggling coming from the garden, which was odd because my mom and dad were the only ones in.

“Who’s in the backyard?” I asked walking over to the door.

My breath caught in my throat as I saw Addison there with her kids tickling her as she layed on the ground. She threw her hands up in surrender and gave both her kids big kisses.

“What’s Addison doing here?” I asked trying to get my voice back to normal.

“We invited her ‘round to catch up, she was like a daughter to us you know,” my mom said, I keep forgetting she was a big part of their lives as well.
