After the Garden
What happens now? What am I to do? What does a wife do? Dinah knew absolutely nothing about love and physical affection. She never needed it, never felt it from God in the Garden. It was a tingling sensation spreading from the tips of her fingers and down her legs. The feeling was entirely foreign to her.
Rain pelted the outter rock around their cave. Lucifer sat next to her staring into the fire. Was he feeling as confused as she was? Dinah wondered if angels know about love. He has to. Otherwise, how could he leave God for me, a mere human with nothing but herself to offer?
"Are you alright?" Lucifer's voice broken through her concentration.
"I think so," Dinah replied, "but to be honest, I'm not exactly sure how I feel. This is all so..."
"...new." Lucifer finished her sentence, taking on of her hands in his and just holding it there in lap. His thumb traced circles on her palm. It was gentle and graceful, qualities befitting an angel.
The rain tapping outside echoed throughout the cave. Dinah was sure the droplets matched their sound to her own heartbeat. Her breathing became more shallow as Lucifer's caresses traveled up her arms, shoulders, neck, stopping to slide one finger across her lips.
Their breathing was joined now. Their faces mere inches apart. Dinah gave up trying to control what her body and mind should do. Did he know what he was doing? He must have. The kiss, that first kiss, was tentative and exploratory. However, Dinah couldn't recall a time in the Garden where she'd felt so complete, whole, one. She kissed Lucifer with everything in her body. She didn't know how to kiss, but he didn't seem to care. Does the concept of love really take such trivial matters into consideration?
They say God is love, so God is all humanity ever needs.
Dinah could say with total certainty that theory was false.

"This dress is dangerous," Alex whispered against her skin, placing soft kisses along the length of her neck. The dress indeed left a fair amount of exposed skin for him to explore. She felt his teeth graze over her collarbone. Hailey tightened her grip on his hair. She couldn't seem to control the tiny moans escaping her lips or the way her eyelids fluttered shut as Alex continued nipping down her neck.
"I don't think you should wear this in public." Alex's hands splayed across her abdomen, pushing her back into his body with an abrupt jerk. He was tall enough to shroud her from the prying eyes of others.
Hailey opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by a forceful, hungry kiss. Alex's hand held her jaw in place and he ravaged her lips. Remarkably, Hailey chose to comply and graciously parted her lips to make way for his exploratory tongue.
When was the last time she allowed herself so much pleasure from him? Why did she ever walk away from this?
When he finally broke the kiss, she managed only a whisper. "Is it your plan to show off in public, or should we go somewhere else?" She was suggestive, raising one eyebrow for playfulness. Hailey felt rather daring. Maybe it was the clothes or the music, or could it be the knowledge that despite the fact he could have anyone, angel, demon, or human, he only had eyes for her?
Alex stared back at her. His dark eyes became hooded and held a glint of fire. They were possessive, hungry, passionate. She could feel the desire pulsing through his fingertips.
A thick fog formed around them. Humans didn't notice a thing. Out of the corner of her eye, she picked out Gabriel and the two demon women looking in their direction. The images of people dancing and drinking gradually disappeared.
