Just the two of us

Adora P.O.V.

For the past week I've been reading this book, I'm almost finished too. I have read 687 pages, Catra made sure I was fed and gave me wine when I wanted it. One day, while I was reading. Catra came up and lifted my right hand and brought her leg around and sat on my lap. She hugged my back with both her arms and legs and dug her face in my neck. I then remembered the date we went on a few days ago. It was... nice and.. romantic. And I noticed I did in fact like her. I then feel Catra hug my tighter
"Something wrong Catra?" I ask looking down at her
"Just wanted to hug you.." she said lifting her head to look at me. We were now face to face with each other.
"I love your eyes" I compliment
"Their not.. special, just my parents have two different colored eyes from each other and.. I ended up getting both colors" she reply's. I take my hand and put it on her cheek
"Their special to me" I compliment again. She gets all flustered and puts her head back at my neck
"Hey catra?...." I ask for her
"Yea?" She reply's
"Would you consider... a relationship with me?" I ask. "I know we've only known each other for basically a month. But in that time I spent almost every minute of it with you. And it.... kinda grew onto me that I had feelings for you" I say blushing and looking away. There was a bit of silence until she broke it
"Sure, why not" she holds me tighter. "I've actually considered it a few times". A smile grew on my face as I closed the book and hugged her.
"Oh- I guess we're both hugging now" she chuckles
"Just.... let's stay like this for a bit" I say as I leaned my head on hers. From reading the book. This was considered 'cuddling'.
We cuddled for what felt like forever until I heard that her purring stopped and that she fell asleep. I lightly pick her up and brought her over to the bed. Then I place her down and crawled behind her to spoon her. And soon after, I fell asleep too. I was first to wake up the next morning. And I saw Glimmer sitting at the desk waiting patiently for us to wake up
"Glimmer? What are you doing" I whispered
"Wanted to check up on you guys, but I didn't want to wake you" she reply's turning around
"Oh, uh, thanks" I reply laying my head back down
"Hey Adora?" Glimmer asks for me
"Yea?" I lay my head back up, this time using my hand to keep it up
"Why'd you lie of who you are" she responds turning around facing the desk again
"H-Huh?" I got a little shocked
"I heard you and bow talking.. I'm not mad, and I definitely don't hate you. I just wanna know why you lied" she says
"I-... it's cause your a werewolf.. and werewolves hate vampires" I respond
"Werewolves do hate Vampires.. but- your different. I don't hate you at all" she says turning back to me. "Just promise not to lie to me again" she asks of me
"S-Sure" I reply. Soon after Catra woke up. And she turned to face me
"Morning sunshine" I say
"What time is it?" She asks
"It's 2 P.M., jeez Catra, do you need to sleep in that late?" Glimmer responds
"Oh!- Glimmer, your here" Catra jumps up
"Yea, Adora and I talked while you slept. So don't worry. I wasn't stalking you" Glimmer chuckles. I looked at Catra and it seemed like she wanted to be alone.
"Hey Glimmer, why don't you go check up on bow. I need to speak to Catra for a bit" I ask
"Oh, sure. I'll see you guys later" Glimmer says teleporting away
"What's up Catra?" I ask
"Just.. wanted to see if you wanted to get out of the house today, and spend some time together" she responds
"Oh, sure. I'm basically done the book anyways" I respond. I then crawl over her to get off the bed, considering the bed was against the wall. And I bridal carry her off the bed and into the kitchen. I then set her down at the table and went over and cooked her breakfast. I cooked her pancakes and got her a glass of milk.
"Here's your breakfast" I say placing it in front of her.
"Awe, you didn't have to" she says grabbing my shirt and giving me a kiss.
"What, I need to make sure you eat. You haven't eaten properly since I started reading the book. So I thought I'd make you breakfast". I say massaging her shoulders and back. She let off a smile and started to eat. I sat down next to her and waited. She then stopped and looked up at me
"Are you hungry?" She asks
"A little.. Yea" I respond. She lifts down her shirt and I walked over, I rubbed her neck looking for a spot I have not bit yet. And kissed around the spot before biting it. I hear her groan considering I kinda bit hard. After a bit of sucking, I cleaned myself up and then went back to her and kissed her forehead.
"Thanks love." I respond
"Just wanna make sure you stay alive to" she chuckles
"Hey, I can go a few days without eating. Vampires can last up to a week without eating" I respond
"Yea well, I don't want you to go hungry. So atleast once a day, your eating" she says finishing up her food. We then headed out and it was actually a cloudy day. We walked around town and bought a few things before leaving town to go towards the mountains to get an overview of the field. It was actually quite beautiful. And being able to see this with Catra, made it even better.
