The days with Catra were like a dream. They went by very slowly, and happily. I woke up one morning wanting to make her breakfast before she wakes up. So I crawled over her gently and went into the kitchen. I started mixing a batter together when I heard a knock on the door. I answered them, then...

Catra p.o.v.

I woke up a little cold, I opened my eyes and reached for Adora, who wasn't there. I didn't hear any noise from the kitchen so I looked out the window. And to my surprise I saw people crowding around three people, one raising his fist and yelling, the other holding somebody tied up with a piece of wood to their neck, and the other.... Adora?!?!  I run downstairs and outside.
"What's going on here?" I ask one of the people in the crowd before entering
"People are voting to kill the vampire, I keep trying to convince them not to. But nobody is listening" he responds
"What?!" I say before pushing people and running in
"SHALL WE FINALLY LIVE IN PEACE. SHALL WE GET RID OF THE LAST AND ONLY VAMPIRE" The guy with the fist yells
"YEA!" everybody yells
"I don't think so" I say finally pushing through everyone
"Sit down princess, you may rule us, but your not stopping this" the other guy says pulling Adora's hair and bringing the stake closer to her neck
"Catra.. it's fine" Adora says trying to smile. I look at her terrified
"No! Adora..." I respond
"It's okay Catra... I love you.." she says
"Adora!" I yell
"Bring that stake away from her neck" a voice says while people move. Glimmer was walking with bow.. and.... her mom?!
"Y-Your majesty" the fisted guy bows
"Queen Angela, finally your here. Tell this princess that this vampire shall be perished" the man with the stake says
"Put the stake down" Queen Angela says
"Huh? But your Majesty-"
"Put. It. Down. She is a vampire, but she's not like her kind. She has a heart" The queen responds
"Y-Yes your Majesty" he says dropping it and backing up
"Adora!" I run over and untie her
"Catra..." she says hugging me. And I start to cry
"H-Hey, it's ok" she says wiping my tears. "I'm here now.."
"Dummy..." I say backing away. "I-... I love you too" I finally say. Adora backs away and places her head on mine
"Guards, escort the two men to the castle prison until questioning" the Queen commands. The guards do so, and the crowd wanders off
"Are you guys okay?! I was passing by and saw the crowd outside the castle yelling, then I saw Adora being escorted out all knocked out and everything. So I called glimmer and she got her mom" bow runs up saying
"You did this Bow?" I ask
"Yea.. I didn't want my friends hurt" he responds
"Y-Your majesty" Adora says after getting up and bowing
"No need for that princess. And you don't have to worry about me hating you.. you can thank glimmer for that" Angela says
"Th-thanks.. your majesty. And thanks Glimmer" Adora gets up and glimmer walks over and hugs her. I was happy seeing that the queen of the werewolves had finally forgiven Adora.

Adora p.o.v.

A few hours after the incident, Catra and I spent the rest of the day cuddling. Well- mostly her cuddling me cause she got scared. I did think tho, for a split second when I finally saw Catra running through the crowd. That it was gonna be the last time I saw her. If it weren't for Angela and everyone else, I would've been gone for good.
