As Gyro drank his coffee, he messaged his mother to just travel to New York because I was carsick.

I do feel bad because planes look fun to ride on honestly but you're so many feet above the ground. Like a Rocket Ship that doesn't go outside Earth. I would try it out, but I'm too scared..

But Road Trips and Boat Rides are fun. Me and Gyro's been on one to Hawaii for Christmas about a year back and that was one of the best Christmases ever.

All the good memories in my lffe, were with Gyro. No one else...He truly means a lot to me..

"You okay?" Gyro asked, rubbing my back gently

"Yeah, just daydreamin I guess." I sighed. "Just wish I wasnt so afraid to ride a plane ya know."

"I understand, but I dont want you to risk that." Gyro replied. "Maybe I can try and get those VR headsets?"

"I dont really know if that would work? But thanks for the efford." I smiled

"No problem. Wanna head out now?" Gyro smiled, rubbing my back

"Sure. Im excited for whats gonna happen in New York." I smiled. "Ive already kind of looked at professional jockey stuff and they immiedarely put me in even though I havent done pro jockey stuff since like? Sophomore year of high school!"

"Thats super awesome! I'm so happy for you, Johnny! I'm really happy for you and I know your gonna make it big across the country, and maybe all over the world!" Gyro smirked.

"Really? You think so?" I asked.

"Of course! I know the best pro jockey across the country. Now lets head out to the car and head onto New York! We got our lives waiting for us!" Gyro smiled, kissing my lips.

"Aww, your the freakin best!" I said kissing him back

Once we arrived in the car, it got chillier. Its almost the end of October and oh jeez...Its definitely gonna snow by the time we get to our new home.

"Oh my god its freezing!!" I shivered. "Luckily I brought a shit ton of hoodies!!"

"Thank goodness, Johnny I could really use one." Gyro said.

As I got us some sweaters, I connected some music to the car.

"What is this??? 100 Gecs?? Johnny what is this??" Gyro asked

"Art." I smirked. "Gec gec"

"I-Umm okay.." Gyro questioned

Not even ten minutes later were blasting 100 Gecs and screaming the lyrics of some of the songs at the top of our lungs.

"Were gonna be in New York by tomorrow afternoon!!' Gyro smiled.

"Seriously? Im so happy! This is the freakin best!" I smiled, hugging Gyros hoodie.

"We can hopefully contact the house seller and we can bring in our stuff from San Diego to New York!"

As we discussed uour plans for a wedding and honeymoon, music was in the background and we saw the huge buildings. We were closer to New York than we expected

"Were here..Were finally here!!" I smiled. "Paradise...Home sweet home..."

As we got closer to the city, I pulled up my phone to find our house. Its to the right of where we are, so we turned on the nearest exit from the freeway. Its about three hours away.

"I cant believe it...We're here." Gyro said. "First we just need to move in all the furniture and settle in and then, you know."

"Wedding? Jeez im so excited!! Hey, have you ever thought of adopting children?" I said kissing Gyro in the cheek

"Children?! Im not really a fan of children. I was thinking like? Pets. Like- cats maybe?" Gyro replied with a flustered expression.

"Ooh I like that! Ive never really owned a cat before so I'm excited!!" I replied

"So, wanna dopt cats after the wedding? Like after we get sttled in? Maybe a few months after?" Gyro whispred.

"Yeah. Id love that." I replied

About three hours later. We saw our now forever home. A two story suburban house not too far from New York City.

"Im-Im about to cry..We're at our home...At last.." I sobbed, hugging Gyro from the side.

"This is gonna be really fun." Gyro smiled,hugging me back. "Hopefully the furniture will come soon. For now, lets take a picture."

As Gyro got out his camera and his camera tripod or stand for it or whatever, he put the timer for the camera on for ten seconds and we stood in front of our house. 

We did at least five photos as the neighbors were just staring. One noticed who I was because of my hat, and asked for an autograph and of course I couldnt decline that.

"I saw in the newspaper your gonna make a return eh?" A neighbor asked

"Yeah! Dropped outta college and moved here with my fiance here and now we're starting fresh!" I smiled

"Congrats to the two of you! I hope life goes well for y'all!!" The neighbor replied with a smile

And so, we settled in and packed up all the stuff we brought with us, and rested on an inflatable mattress.
