Chapter 3

We have not found anything to wear for tonight. This should be taken as a sign of me not to go to it. I'm not a party girl, to begin with.

Elvis hasn't stopped calling me a chicken or making chicken noises at me. I want to smack him with this cute bag I found. He should be looking for a shirt instead of judging me.

"Stop following me," He likes to drive me insane for his enjoyment. The girl staring at us probably thinks we are a couple. She has not stopped looking at us since we got here.

Bingo! This dress should do it for tonight. "Elvis look, so what do you think," He's probably going to say it's horrible. "Do you really want my opinion," Yup, I don't care I'm taking it.

Here I am in my mirror with thirty minutes to get ready. My hair is a mess and I'm having trouble deciding how to do it. A ponytail is too lazy and straightening it takes too long.

Wait a minute! Elvis is right this dress is kind of fugly. Yellow from the top with no shoulders and green at the bottom. Yikes! I'll be lucky if someone throws upon it.

"Hurry up," Elvis is already here! Why am I so jumpy right now. Breath Lily, take a deep breath, and relax for a second.

"Wow, you look good," Changing my outfit at the last moment worked. Now to do my hair and makeup in Elvis car. This shirt is so cute and these pants aren't so bad.

I'm wearing a dark green shirt with mustard color pants. Elvis is wearing green too but his shirt has pineapples. We look okay for our first grand summer party.

"Elvis can you drive slowly," What can I expect the guy can barely use a bike. "You have lipstick all over your face," He is not kidding. Omg!

He is stopping a block away from the party. Aw, he's so sweet for doing this for me. I need to fix my face pronto before we get there.

"I run out of gas," Don't you just love Elvis. Walking it is again. This time he has to carry me because I cannot walk in these boots. Well, here we go let the horror begin...
