A month later

"Jas come on I need your help" Lorenzo said over the phone as he stood in his bathroom.

"Negro okay I get you need my help but you didn't need to call me at fucking ten in the morning on a goddamn Saturday. This is my sleep in day you bastard" Jas said angrily over the phone. Lorenzo rolled his eyes shaking his head.

"Okay I'm sorry for calling you at ten in the morning but will you please just help me" Lorenzo pleaded as he paced around the bathroom.

"Of course I'm going to help you nigga are you stupid? See this is why I don't date boys y'all so damn dumb" Jas cranky ass said as se rolled her eyes.

"Girl meet me at in a hour damn" Lorenzo said before hanging up the phone. He sighed shaking his head.

How did I become friends with this dramatic girl? He thought before his phone ding.

"I need new friends" Lorenzo mumbled before walking out of the bathroom where Legacy stood with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Who were you on the phone with?" Legacy asked raising her eyebrow. She couldn't hear what was being said only that it sounded like a girl's voice.

"I was on the phone with Jas babe" Lorenzo said truthfully as he walked around her to his dresser. Legacy made a Mhm sound as she didn't believe him.

Legacy knew how Jas never wakes up early on a Saturday until around noon so she didn't believe a word he was saying. Legacy also noticed how Lorenzo would be distant toward her and always take his phone calls in another room away from Legacy. She was starting to believe that he was cheating.

"Lorenzo if you were hiding something from someone would you come clean about it when the person asked you about it" Legacy mumbled as she watched him get changed in some a black sweatshirt that said ice and some blue jeans.

"Of course babe but I'm not hiding anything" Lorenzo lied as he grabbed his phone and car keys. Legacy watched him before making that mhm sound again.

"Okay" she mumbled before leaving the room to go make some breakfast. Ava is with Laila and King. Legacy actually is going to get her later today.

"Babe I'll be back later" Lorenzo said coming into the kitchen. Legacy turned to him and he leaned in for a kiss but Legacy turned back around.

"Have fun" Legacy mumbled dryly and Lorenzo frowned but didn't say anything. Lorenzo left without another word and Legacy sighed.

"I'm probably overthinking shit and overreacting. It's Lorenzo he would never cheat on me" Legacy mumbled before pulling out her phone to call Miya.

"Hello?" Miya's sleepy voice said through the phone.

"Miya can you come over please" Legacy asked as she made some pancakes.

"Will there be breakfast?" Miya asked and Legacy laughed.

"Yes Miya there will be food" Legacy said as she flipped a pancake.

"Bet I'll be right over. Jas I'll be back I'm going to get food!" Miya said before hanging up. Legacy shook her head with a smile.
