Chapter 10
-Arden’s POV-
After the concert in Denver a group of guys were huddled around me. My first thought was to politely say goodbye and walk away because I felt out of my norm but this one guy was all over me, his arms around my shoulder pulling me in closer and closer. There was discomfort written all over my face and the second I pulled away to call Tony again he was right there looking straight at me. It didn’t take him long until he stormed off onto the bus and I ran behind trying to catch him to explain. “See ya later sweet cheeks!” the guy shouted smiling at me. I turned around and walked back to them and kicked him right in the nuts. With him on the ground I towered over him grabbing his face, “Not sweet anymore asshole.” His friends backed up leaving me room to walk back to the bus to meet Tony to explain everything.
Opening the door and seeing Tony about to take a shot of alcohol I ran up to him and placed the shot glass down. “Really Arden?” Tony asked with a stern voice. “You’re basically cheating on me with some loser and now you take what keeps me happy away from me?” he said. “Oh? So I don’t make up happy? I kick that guy in the nuts for a reason Tony! I was scared out of mind trying to pull away to call you to come and help me!” I shouted. “Next time take your fucking phone off airplane mode,” I said throwing my phone at him.
-Tony’s POV-
She threw her phone at me and stormed off into the back lounge. I unlocked her phone going to her recent calls. “Tony ♥ (4)” I felt like an asshole and I didn’t mean what I said to her. She fucking called me 4 times but I was too busy to take my phone off airplane mode. How stupid could I be? I ran into the back but unfortunately the door was locked. “Arden, babe, open the door we need to talk!” I said banging on the door. “Look, I didn’t mean what I said I promise… I’m sorry,” The door swung open and mascara ran down Arden’s face, “Are you sure Tony? Because I don’t believe you. You made it pretty clear that I don’t make you happy. I mean look at us, we’re a mess! Since this tour started me and you haven’t been on great terms and putting the guys in our situations isn’t making anything better. When I’m up there on that stage singing I can’t look at you because I’ll end up in tears… Tomorrow is the end of the second leg and I’m going home without you.” I felt my world crash right in front of me and I wanted to wake up from this nightmare. I was speechless as I stood there in front of her. She kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear, “I’ll miss you Tony and I’ll always love you.” She turned around and closed the door while I stood there not knowing how to fix this. The girl of my dreams was still here but she was long gone from my arms.
I walk back to the front lounge to see all the guys sitting there with their heads down. “We heard everything man,” Jaime said coming over to give me a hug. I took a seat and hunched over putting my head in between my hands. Mike and Vic each took a seat beside me and Jaime took a seat on the couch in front of us. “Don’t worry Tony we’ll help you fix this,” Vic voice determined. Jaime and Mike both agreed with Vic but I didn’t need their help to fix my problems again. “No you guys, she made it clear that she didn’t want anything to do with me. I ruined everything because I didn’t trust her. I fucking blew it,” I cried. “I saw her with some guys and I caught her with them so I went storming to the bus, she came in while I was about to take a shot of vodka and she placed down and I was piss! I told her ‘You’re basically cheating on me with some loser and now you take what keeps me happy away from me?’ and she blew up. She even kick that guy in the nuts and she called me 4 times to come get her but I didn’t pick up,” I continued. “Tone, dude, why did you say that to her?” Mike asked. I lolled my head back into the seat with my hands over my eyes, “It was out of frustration.”
I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t hold her in my arms anymore to make everything alright. I heard the small cries coming from her bunk below from mine. I wanted to check up on her but there was no use because it was no way she would talk to me. I knew she still loved me but she hated what I did to her.
