The words that came from her little mouth were filled with frustration. The anger from her eyes showed the scared child within.
"You two should have run! Is pride so important to the extent you can throw your life!?"
She was mean; sometimes irrational. Yet, by then, her whole face was pale. And it was all due to having run a long way to find them, in this winter. That was one of the few moments they saw her shaking this much.
Perhaps, her shaking did not come from the frigidity but fear – the fear of witnessing someone close to her suffer.
It is just that she was so kind. Hardly could they see her being so angry as she often wore a smile. A kindness in her smile, a gentleness. It was the smile of one who laughed with ease. She was like the sunshine as if she only radiated from the best aspects of those she met.
