Ryujin's POV
I woke up with my phone ringing. I look at the caller ID to see yeji calling me. I answered the call didn't even bother checking the time cause I wanna sleep more.

Yeji

Where the hell are you ryujin it's almost 7:30?!

WHAT?!

Get your ass up and go to school you're lucky the teachers believed that your with us

I'm sorry for causing you trouble I'll be there

I ended the call sighing heavily as a headache decides to come. I shrug it off going to the bathroom taking a quick shower I don't wanna go to school without taking a bath.

I decided to just skip breakfast and go to school I'm almost late who got time to eat. I fast walk to school panting heavily as I arrived.

I went to class to see a bunch of people glancing at me I bowed to the teacher before going to my sit which was unfortunately with this new student Y/N.

"I see you're late" She says making me roll my eyes. "I'm not late I was with the student co-" I got cut off by her.

"So you go to school without combing your hair you look like you just got out of the shower" She says before handing me her comb.

I hesitated a bit before using it. "Thank you" I said once I finished combing my hair. "No problem you slept late didn't you?" She asked in a teasing tone.

I sighed putting my head on my arms. "How annoying can this girl be?" I thought out loud making Y/N fake gasp holding her chest.

"Ouch I'm just a little itzy bitzy tiny bit annoying" She says smiling at me as I glance at her. I groaned frustrated. "Here my notes I gotta go soon anyways" She says making me raise an eyebrow.

"Why are you trying to be nice to me and are you gonna skip class?" I said in an authoritative tone making her chuckle. "No I got baseball practice and I'm always very nice you just wont give me a chance to show it you" She says crossing her arms trying to act cute.

I scoffed bitterly. "Baseball practice? How come you know we have baseball?" I asked confused and curious at the same time. "Didn't yeji tell you already she made me try out for the team and fortunately I got in" She says proudly.

I rolled my eyes and just listened to the teacher blabbering ignoring Y/N who's trying to get my attention. "Can you shut up?" I said annoyed already.

She shuts up still smiling at me looking like an idiot. I rolled my eyes going back to focusing on the teacher in front who's trying to discuss.

Your POV
I got a text from the group chat saying we should head out now. I grab my thing as I went to my teacher showing her what my couch said. "You're excused" She says looking at me suspiciously.

I nodded glancing back at ryujin smiling and waving at her she just rolls her eyes then I went to the changing room to see a few players were already there.

Yeji came in last and changed clothes like she's the goddamn flash. SHE HAS ABS oh my g-. "Take a picture it will last longer" She says making me look away blushing. They all laughed some nudging me a little.

Then suddenly when we were finally called to the field the aura suddenly changed everyone was determined and serious they really take baseball so seriously. I'm starting to like this team.

They're easy to be friends with plus they take this whole baseball thing seriously not like my former team all they do was joke around and talk shit about other people it was a pretty toxic team that's why I decided to just leave and quit baseball because I thought every team was like that.

The training starts it was a pretty hard training we had to work out our legs and arms running 10 laps on a 100m field with the sun isn't really helping.

I manage not to die as the training finished and we were back to the changing room. "Damn coach really went all out with the training today" one of the players that is also a pitcher bomi says.

"Yeji you look like you didn't run 10 laps how to be like you" I said yeji smiles at me wiping the sweat off her body. "I'm gonna go take a shower" I said taking my clothes going inside one of the stalls with a shower attach to it.

I sighed as the water hits my bare back it made me shiver as I relax after. I ignored the reflection of my tattoo in my back. I finished showering and putting my clothes on as I placed my uniform in one of the washing machines that was placed in the locker room.

Shockingly there is 3 washing machines in the locker room so I didn't have to take home this stinky uniform full of sweat from earlier. "Hey wanna talk again I'm apparently free after school" Yeji says while bomi goes between us.

"I smell love in the air" Bomi says looking at both of us with a intense stare. I chuckled shaking my head. "No we're just friends" We both said atthe same time making bomi nod still looking at us suspiciously.

"Anyways sure meet you in the coffee shop usual place?" I asked while she nods. "I'll go first I'm starving see you guys 2 days after" I said taking my bag going outside the changing room making my way to the canteen.

"Hey Y/N your notes thanks by the way" Ryujin says giving me my notes back. I smiled at her taking my notes back. "No problem by th-" I got cut off by her walking away after I took my notes back.

I look at her in disbelief as she gets out of my sight. "Damn" I mumbled as felix goes to me it's been a while since I saw this guy. "Hey Y/N for you" He says giving me flowers the hallways suddenly becomes much louder with a lot of murmurs.

I chuckled. "Someone else deserves this plus you do realize that I see you as my first ever friend" I said trying my best not to hurt him which failed as I can see a glint of hurt in his eyes as he plasters a fake smile.

"It's okay" He says even before I can say sorry. "I don't wanna ruin our friendship because of one relationship" I said smiling sadly at him. I hugged him after I can feel him shaking a little I can tell he wants to cry.

"I experience rejection as well it's normal there is always somebody who will like you and when that time comes and you will like her back you'll realize that I'm not that one" I whispered in his ear before pulling away from the hug.

"I have to go" He says leaving me after. "Why the hell would she reject one of the hottest guy in school" I hear one of the mean bitches say. I walk towards them making them look at me with such a disgusted face like I step on shit or something.

I smiled at them. "Even if he likes me doesn't mean I have to like him back it's better hurt him by the truth than lie to him and myself but I guess you don't do that I feel sorry for you" I said before going inside the canteen ignoring their shouts.

I chuckled going to me and seulgi's usual seat right now tho seulgi is sick so I guess I'm alone. I sighed taking my laptop out of my bag as I opened it.
