Best friends

Rin and I have been best friends for a while now. I know everything about him. Even the fact that he's the spawn of Satan. It didn't scare me though, I know Rin is a good guy. Currently the two of us were hanging out around town because we had nothing better to do.

"Rin?" I called out. "Yeah?" He asked me. "Can we get ice cream?" I asked him. "Sure, where at?" He smiled. I pointed to where. "Oh and you're paying." I said before quickly sprinting to the store. "Huh?! Why me?!" I heard Rin shout to me following behind me. I laughed and ordered myself a vanilla cone while Rin ordered the same. We sat down and ate our ice cream while having a conversation about cram school.

After we were done, we got up and started walking again. "I have a surprise for you. Follow me." Rin suddenly said. I just shot him a confused look before following him.
After like 10 minutes we arrived at a new arcade in the town. It was called 'Mephisto Games'. "Interesting name.." I mumbled. "Come on! Let's go!" Rin dragged me in the arcade.

Rin and I were having so much fun and not paying attention to the time. "Excuse me, the arcade closed... 15 minutes ago. GET OUT!" A security guard came to us and yelled. "Sorry." I quickly bowed. "Aye, don't tell at her old man." Rin glared at the man and Wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "W-what?" I stuttered out blushing. "Just leave." The man grumbled escorting is out the arcade. "You didn't have to do that you know." I told Rin looking up at him. "Shut up. I did what I did." He said. I playfully rolled my eyes, then my stomach grumbled. I heard Rin chuckle next to me. "Seems as if your hungry. Let's get some Sukiyaki!" Rin grinned. I smiled back and nodded.

Arriving at the food place Rin ordered us our food. As soon as it came on the table Rin gobbled it up like he hasn't eaten in years. I laughed at him. "What?" He asked with his mouth full. "Slow down, you'll get a stomach ache." I said while laughing too. "Well at least I'm eating it." Rin shot back playfully. "Oh.." I realized I didn't even touch my food yet. "Just keep stuffing your face." I grumbled while blushing from embarrassment

After a Long day, it was about 10:30 at night. Rin walked me back home. "Today was fun." I smiled at Rin. "Yeah, it was the best date!" Rin smiled back. "D-date?" I blushed. "Yes date." Rin suddenly stopped and got serious. "But I thought we were just best friends?" I asked confused while still blushing. "What if I want more?" He asked me while leaning down towards my lips. Then he kissed me. I was in shock but eventually kissed him back. "I love you Angelie. Will you be my girlfriend?" Rin asked me looking into my eyes while blushing still. "Yes. And I love you too Rin." I smiled at him while still blushing.

Maybe it was the best date ever after all.
