Chapter 22

James pov

I woke up in the morning and was waiting for katelyn to come down when another gryfindoor told me that they though she had already left so I made my way to great hall.

On the way there I saw Malfoy roaming the grounds looking suspicious.

Rumor was that he was a death-eater. My parents had told me during the holidays

I though I should go check out what he was up to

Suddenly he spun around wand in my face. He looked absolutely terrible; pale in the face and fear in his eyes.

'why you following me' he demanded with a shaky voice

'whats you up to Malfoy' I demanded back

'that's none of your business' he shouted

'it is my business because your up to something which is going to harm everyone. I know Malfoy, I know your a death-eater. Do you really think you have a chance against the whole of Hogwarts. The death-eaters can't get in the school, your all alone. You got no chance so whatever your doing just back off' I threatened

'that's what you think, I'm not alone, the death-eaters will come' he said walking off

'Malfoy just stop' I screamed pulling out my wand

'shut up you filthy mud-blood'

I couldn't control myself and instead of using my wand I punched him in the face. He fell to the ground and quickly got up with blood pouring down his lip.

We were both now facing each other with our wands pointing in defense.

'James, just back off, let me do my work, I've had enough of you, you've already ruined my life as it is' he said

How did I ruin his life? I have never done anything to him. What was he on about?

I was just about to ask him when someone interrupted

Katelyn's pov

'STOP!' I screamed and ran as fast as I could to stop James and Draco

I knocked both their wands out if their hands

'are you two mad?! What are you doing?!' I screamed

Draco didn't even look at me, he kept his fierce eyes on James and then just left towards the school with blood trickling down his lip.

'James, what did you do?' I demanded

'his up to something, katelyn his a death-eater, my parents told me' James shouted

'so what if his a deatheater, let him do what he wants, just please don't get caught up in this' I pleaded

'I'm sorry, I didn't want to get caught up but he just looked so suspicious'

'why is he bleeding?' I asked

'I punched him' he whispered

When James said that he punched Draco I felt like punching james I still had feeling for Draco I know I was wrong to leave him. If Draco got hurt I felt the pain. However I calmed down and sent James away.

'why don't we just drop this, you go breakfast, I'll meet you there I just have to go see a teacher first' I lied

I was actually you to go see Draco

As James went to breakfast I went to find Draco. I couldn't find him anywhere but then suddenly the room of requirement appeared before me

I went inside and there he was. He was fiddling with some sort of cabinet

'Draco' I whispered

He startled but didn't turn to look at me and then carried in fiddling with the cabinet

I approached him and saw that his lip was still bleeding. He still didn't look at me.

I pulled a tissue out of my pocket and approached his face to clean the blood. he stopped and looked at me then grabbed hold of my hand

'what are you doing here?' he asked emotionless

'I wanted to see how you are' I whispered back

'well then, here I am, absolutely fine, you can go now' he said coldly

He was really ticked of with me but I wouldn't blame him.

I grabbed his arm and lead him to a pile of boxes. We both sat down and I pulled him closer to clean the blood. As I cleaned his blood he came closer until our noses were touching, I stopped

'I'm going to miss you' he whispered

What did he mean?

'what, I don't understand?' I asked

'you will soon' he replied and then really slowly pecked me on my lips

Suddenly as we broke apart he stood up and told me to leave

'you better go now, I need to get back to work' he said gesturing towards the cabinet

I got up to leave while he got back to the cabinet

What did he mean by 'I'm going to miss you' and how is that cabinet going to help kill dumbledoor?

I thought all week about Draco and what he said. I still could figure anything out. I though and thought and the more I though about him the more I regretted leaving him. I should be with him through this hard time.
