We had a couple of weeks after the tour to go home and spend some time with our families. Harry spent nights at my house for the most part. I had recently purchased my own house not too long ago. We rarely spent nights at my parents house anymore. The best feeling is when I wake up before him and I can just hold him and run my hands through his hair. He was so soft and gentle in the mornings. All he wanted was to be held just a little bit longer in the mornings. Once and a while we would spend nights at Harry's place. One morning I woke up to the feeling of Harry gently brushing his fingertips up and down my bicep. I turned around to face him and nuzzled in close and fell back to sleep to the sound of his gentle voice saying "head back to bed, love". The way he woke me up every morning, if he was up before me, was with a cup of tea or coffee and with a gentle kiss to the forehead leading down to my bare collarbone. One morning I had gotten up and out of bed before him to make him a cup of coffee. He felt my arm slide out from under his hand and it woke him up. He rubbed his eyes the way he always does, which melts me. He said in his morning voice "Lou, come back to bed! I wanna cuddle!". I couldn't resist so I got back in bed and pulled him close for about another hour.

The days would normally lead to us cuddled up in the corner of the couch with Harry in my lap reading. These days proved no matter what Simon made us do or say it would never tear us apart. I don't ever cook, so Harry did all of the cooking in the relationship. That's what he was best at. I did all the tidying around the house like making the bed and wiping off the counters. We would do our chores late in the morning so we had the rest of the day to relax. London was rainy most days so we spent them inside. We didn't mind it though, we would make a fire and snuggle close on the couch and read. We would sometimes choose a movie to watch, but Harry preferred to read whilst in my lap. I was okay with that. Most of the time he would fall asleep. While he would be half asleep he would reposition himself so he was lying comfortably on me. I would then turn on a movie and just relax while he slept. I didn't want to disturb my baby. It was nice to just sit there and hold him while he peacefully slept on me. He would wake up during these naps occasionally to grab my hand to make sure I was still there, or give me a kiss to let me know he loves me. Then, he would fall right back asleep.

When he was sleeping it was usually either with me or when I was close by. He never wanted to leave me. He didn't want to take any of the alone time we had together for granted. Harry was always terrified of losing me, so when he slept at night he held me tight. He didn't want to miss a single second of his alone time with me. I try to protect him as much as I can because he doesn't deserve to hold all of the hate on his shoulders. I can handle all of it and even if I couldn't I still would do it for him. We hated when our breaks were over. Of course we missed the boys and singing and performing. We just hated having to hide who we were truly. Even though my mum told me to never hide who I really was.

I was making dinner tonight because it was our anniversary and I wanted to be the one to make something special. The true thing was, I could cook. I just don't cook very often. I really only know how to make one thing, unlike Harry he could make virtually anything you asked him to. But, today I was making dinner tonight. I went to take a shower while Harry was still swimming in the pool. I had gotten out of the shower and threw on a pair of shorts and went out into the kitchen to start cooking. I started to cut the chicken and throw some greens in a bowl. I heard Harry hop in the shower to rinse off. The door was partly open and I could see his reflection in the mirror. His shower had only lasted a few minutes then he threw on some pants and came out to see me in the kitchen. As I was tossing the salad he walked up behind me and I felt his soft hands move across my bare waist. I moved back into him as he started to kiss my neck. He moved his hand across my hip to turn me around. As he turned me around he met my lips and kissed me. After all that I told him he needed to go sit down so I could make dinner. He was a huge distraction and I didn't want to ruin dinner.
