Chapter 11 - twenty thirteen

By 2013 Simon had officially painted Harry as a womanizer. This utterly broke him. Being asked some of the questions that he was asked during interviews were stupid. Our fans always threw so much backlash at the interviewers because they knew he wasn't even close to being one. No matter how much he said he wasn't or tried to show that he wasn't a womanizer just backfired. Simon had ruined him and all that he stood for.

Simon hated us together, he always did. There were only a few celebrities who knew about us. Only the ones we trusted of course. Simon affected our relationship greatly. We had fights like every couple does, but ours were about different things. Ours were about 'how one of us couldn't take it anymore'. That was the biggest one we ever had. Our fans noticed everything, they were better than the FBI. They could tell when something was off. We would fight and they would pick up on it right away. They would notice that I wouldn't meet Harry at the eyes when he was talking. They noticed that Harry wouldn't look at me just to see if I was smiling. Our fights never lasted more than 2 days. We learned that communication, time, and affection are what save and help us in our relationship. It was scary when we fought. It felt like I was going to lose everything if I lost him.

Simon tried everything to keep us apart. During days where we went from one interview to the next he would make sure that we were asked anything about each other, we didn't sit by each other and made sure that we didn't even have a reason to talk to each other. Of course that didn't stop us at all. When we were on stage I felt almost free, until Simon took that away from us too. It felt like I wasn't even me anymore. I had lost myself and I wasn't sure if I was even going to find myself. When I was with Harry or the boys I knew who I was. I was a man who was proud of his husband. Oh yeah, did I not tell you we got married?
