Harry brought up the idea of going up to his step-fathers cabin to get to know each other and see what we sounded like together as a band. We spent 14 days up there. We learned so much about each other, we told them that we were in a relationship and they were so happy about it. We spent most of the days talking and playing football, then when it came to the night we sat around a fire altogether and sang different songs. One night we decided to all sleep outside. We ended up getting locked out of the house and we started hearing really scary noises so we ended sleeping on the trampoline for the night. When we woke up in the morning we were all cuddled up together in the middle of the trampoline.
That next day we spent all day working on our voices and trying to see what song we wanted to perform at the judges house. It ended up that our voices sounded incredible together. Our first performance was at the judges house where we sang 'Torn' by Natalie Imbruglia. We made it! We had moved on to the finals of the X- Factor! We could not believe that we had done it.
Hours previous to that performance I was rushed to the hospital because while we had been down at the beach chilling before singing, and I had gotten stung by a sea urchin. Funny thing was I didn't even see it, I was just walking down the beach trying to clear my head. It hurt but I ended up being fine just had to get some cream and antibiotics to put on it. But, we had done it. We had made it to the next round together. It was crazy. We had never expected to make it past the judges house; we only worked for 2 weeks together.
We had to pack up our things and head off to the X- Factor houses. Harry was only 16 so he needed someone to stay with him. Simon didn't know we were together, but I volunteered. I became Harry's legal guardian at the age of 18. I was fine with it. Simon had rented the rest of the boys their own flats somewhere close to ours. Simon had rented me and Harry a two bedroom flat in Princess Park Manor in London, UK. Honestly we didn't need two bedrooms, but Simon didn't need to know that.
