Epiphany ~ Chapter 23.

Guren walked out of his office, a long yawn escaping his mouth; Y/N had already left after taking a nap and he intended to potentially take a nap of his own after the long hours of work; although those plans went to ruin as Lilith suddenly emerged from the corner,

"Master Guren, I need to ask you something." She asked, her voice small,

"Sure, What is it?"

"Err, not here though."

He nodded, turning to his office, gesturing for her to follow, which she did. When they were inside, he sat on his desk before gesturing for her to say what he wanted to say,

"Did I say anything I wasn't meant to say yesterday?" She asked,

He chuckled, "Why are you asking me that question?"

She looked confused, "What do you mean?"

"You know the answer to the question you just asked me, otherwise you would've asked Y/N or Naomi, but you can't, can you?" He shook his head in amusement,

She sighed, "You're right, I'm sorry for what I said."

"It's fine, don't worry about it." He shook his head, he genuinely didn't think of it as too big of a deal when he thought about it, he'll just wait until you bring it up yourself instead,

"No, I shouldn't have poked my nose in something so intimate between you and Y/N, drunk or not it wasn't right."

"Hm. Are you feeling guilty or are you scared that Y/N will kill you like she said she would?"

"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't both."

"In that case why not apologise to Y/N herself?" Guren suggested much to Lilith's horror,

"Apologise to Y/N? Come on, do you want me to die? Are you really mad at me even though you said you weren't? How can I-?" She began to ramble on and Guren laughed,

"Please, I'm not mad at you. And Y/N won't kill you, don't worry." He tried to reassure, "In fact, don't put it off, let's go!" He stood from the desk escorting her out of his office,

"Oh, no surely not now." She waved her hands in protest, unable to resist being pushed out the office,

"Of course, in fact-" he suddenly began yelling, "Oi, Y/N? Where are you?"

"Living room." You yelled back, from your comfortable position on the couch,

It wasn't long until he came through the door, and nudged her in front of him, "There you go."

"Oh my, what is all this?" Naomi slyly commented from above you, your head currently rested on her thighs as your legs lay on the arm rest of the sofa. You had done that with the intention to tease her, expecting her to push you off, but she didn't move.

You sat up, curious about what was about to happen, but Naomi pushed your head back down, "Y/N dear, you're currently my thigh warmers."

You rolled your eyes, "Oh my bad. Anyway what's up with you two?"

"Lilith has something to say." Guren announced,

"Y/N, I'm sorry about last night." She suddenly apologised,

You raised an eyebrow, not remembering much from last night, "What did you do last night?"

She stared at you long, lip quivering before she turned to run away, although much to her dismay she bumped into Guren who turned her back around to face you,

"Y/N, do you really not remember what you said last night? Even I was passed out and heard your whole conversation."

"What conversation?" You asked, looking up at Naomi in frustration,
