Christmas Memory

In the TARDIS, the Doctor was placing Charlotte on the table in the lab. She sighed and touched her cheek as the others stood around.

"Can you save her?"

"I hope so. Right, everyone, the machine! Let's wire her up," The Doctor ordered. 

They all got to work and the machine beeped slowly, the Doctor looking at it, scared. She didn't like what she saw.

"She's very ill. What have they done to her?" 

"Doctor, we've got a problem," Sam called out as he ran into the room. 

Frowning, the Doctor looked at him and wondered how this Christmas could get any worse. "What's up?"

"Um, so, you might want to see this," Sam replied. He led her to another room, where the tenth Doctor stood encased in a strange material.

Shocked, Jenny exclaimed, "Dad!" 

"What's he doing here?" Nate asked when they saw him there, whereas Jenny walked close and touched the material.

"I have no idea. We need to get him out of there." 

Jenny whirled around to face her friends. "How?" 

The Doctor sonicked the thing and the tenth Doctor fell out, gasping for air.

"What on Earth?"

"Dad, you OK? What happened?" Jenny asked urgently. Ten grinned and sat up, glad to see them but then his head hurt and he nearly fainted.

"Where's Charlotte?"

"She's sick, I'm sorry," Sam said as ten looked at them in shock as he tried to stand up as nate helped him up and ten ran to the other room and saw Charlotte.

"Merry Christmas." 

"Yeah, so much for it though," The new doctor said as Sam sighed and they all walked to the console room and sat down.

"Here's a present for you."

"Thanks, Sam," Nate said as she open it to find a ring box inside she gasped as same went on one knee as the doctor smiled. 

"will you marry me"

"yes" 

Nate said as he put the ring on her finger and they kiss.

" merry Christmas"

"Aww. Young love, right mum?" Jenny said smiling as the doctor sighed softly as she look to see where Charlotte was.

"this Christmas has not started how I thought"

"She'll be OK, you know," Jenny said as the doctor sat down on a chair her head in her hands as she placed a hand on her shoulder.


"Hey Doctor, don't worry."

"Doctor, I need you now!"  Ten shouted from the other room. 

She ran to the room to see Charlotte getting pale and not better; the new Doctor looked at her, sad. She sat next to her friend, touching her cheek softly, but Ten was angry and punched the wall with a rage-filled roar. 

"Aghhh!" 

"Calm down, Doctor," Nate said as he looked at them angry and then walked to the door when Sam stoped him and frowned.

"Tell us what happened, please."

"Well, we were running away from the Daleks when they shot us," Ten explained. Jenny wondered what had happened to Rachel.

"Where's your other friend?"

"She left. I haven't seen her since," Ten said, frowning.

They took a long look at Charlotte; everyone was worried about her.

On a ship, the Master was talking to his acquaintances.

"My new army. Oh, how I enjoy playing evil. How are you, my friend?"

"I'm at your service, Master," Rachel said. She smiled at him.
