"This feeling.." - Part Eight

Carlos POV :
I was running really late ! I felt sweat around my collar and I wanted to stop but I couldn't ! Atleast I was not gonna be in trouble of getting bullied by Mal and Jay today .
" Carlos !" I stopped . It was Evie .. I couldn't talk to her after what happened yesterday .
That was really unexceptable and so miracilous . It wasn't like I fell in love with her after the kiss but she was really soft , kind and loyal and another thing is that , She'd never bully me .. Like Mal .
I turned around and saw Evie ‌who was walking towards me as her blue down wavey hair was swaying in the wind . Her light brown eyes were glowing under the golden light of the sun .
" Hi .." I said as felt like I'm gonna blush . She was really beautiful and she was wearing a leather shirt with a short jean skirt and jeans under it . Blue suit her really good .
" Hi !!" She said and her voice cracked . She twirled her blue fuzz curls around her finger and asked :" Are you going to school ?"
"Uh.. Yes.. But I'm running really late !" I said and scratched my neck nervously .
She shook her head a approval and after a awkward silence , said :" Me too . Would you like to , walk with me ?.." I froze . Answer Carlos ! Try not to sttuter !
"Sure ! But anyways when we arrive at school it's not gonna end well !" I said and sighed .
Evie and I started walking through The dragon hall ; She said :" Why would you think like that ?"
" because we are running really late ! I missed a whole class right now !" I said as I was trying to breath and not get stressed .
Suddenly Evie took something out of her bag and showed it to me and said :" I have this . We can do some smart things with my magic mirror !" I stared at her mirror which had golden frames .
" But .. wasn't this broken ?" I asked and I held the mirror in my hand and looked at it .
" Yeah but my friend fixed it . She is really good at magic things !" She said as she was laughing and kinda blushing as her rosy cheeks were getting more red every moment she was talking to me .
" I love magic ..." I said and I felt like she gasped for a moment .
"What happened?" I asked her .
" What were your bullies' names ?" Evie asked and bit her lips nervously . Why did she ask that ? Even remembering Mal was something strange...
It was magical ; She was magical, attractive , strong and ... perfect .
"Jay and .." I said ; It felt so hard to say her name outloud . I was weak infront of her perfection and power . In front of her glowing green eyes and full pouty rose lips ; Her short violet hair which was all over her shoulder ; The way she walked , talked and looked at many things ?.. It was just different than others .
" Mal ?" Evie said suddenly . I gasped ; Where did she know that from ?
" Um.. Yeah ." I said as I was looking at her wondering gaze . I couldn't prevent myself from asking this question and said :" How do you know that ?"
Evie turned her back on me and rubbed her forhead with her fingers as it looked like she was solving something .
" Uh huh .. I don't know . I was just wondering !" She said ; Then she pointed at her mirror and said :" What excuse are we gonna use for running late ?"
I shrugged and said :" I think you're smarter than me , So .." and laughed .
Suddenly she put her hand on my shoulder and approahced my ear and said :" So you think I'm smart ?" She was trying to act cool and flirty but she couldn't prevent her cheeks from blushing .
I took a deep breath and said :" Yes..?" I sounded like my voice cracked and Evie giggled .
Then she said :" Why don't we get help from my friend ?"
She was talking about that friend who knew magic I guess .
" The friend of you who knew magic , you mean ?" I asked . Evie bit her lip nervously and shook her head as approval . I don't why but for a second I thought that she doesn't really like that friend because she looked embarassed talking about her friend .
"So.. Carlos ! We should move fast to reach my friend !" She said and started running .
" Hey wait ! I'm coming .." I said and ran after her . I wonder what is Mal doing right now . Is she planning on what to do to me today ? Kill me or toture me ..
We entered the hallway while running and Evie stopped and looked around .
" What are you looking for ?" I whispered . Evie didn't answer and looked at a pile of books which were waiting for her on the table . She took them with her skinny hands and turned around and looked at me . Her blue hair swayed in the air and her brown eyes shined . She grinned as her cherry glossy lipstick made her teeth shine more .
" I have a plan ! Just take these and go to principal !" She said and gave the books to me .
I raised my eyebrow and walked through the principal's office . I wouldn't take his annoying questions anymore but I could wait for Evie to come and survive me .
I stood infront of the table and waited for the principal to come . I was nervous to be honest but still I couldn't forget yesterday .. That kiss was really magical . Did she really like me ?.. Or it was just a game she played with all the guys ?..
Suddenly I heard foot steps and I froze . God please no ... Please be Evie ! Please be Evie !
" De Vil ?" I knew this voice ! I turned around ; It was principal ! But he was not alone (Thanks God he was with Evie ). I smiled at Evie and waved at principal as the books were trembling and slipping off my hand and I was trying to keep them without dropping them .
"So you're late ..?" Principal asked . I shook my head with sorriness but as I looked at Evie who has raised her eyebrows and stared at with that look which meant "Don't say anything !" I stopped and laughed awkwardly and scratched my neck and said :" I mean .."
Then I saw someone . Someone really familiar that I recognized as there was alot of distance between us ; Her purple hair was fallen over her shoulders and her glowing green eyes were shining in the weak light which was gleaming in the hallway . She was holding a brown book which I've seen so many times in her hand ; It was her Spellbook .
I didn't want to believe Mal and Evie were friends and Evie has hidden that from me !..
Mal murmured a spell and suddenly saw me who was staring at her . Why was she doing this ? As she saw me , she closed the book fastly and held her breath . I saw principal that was kinda dizzy and confused . He slowly sat on the chair and said :" I'm really exhausted. Why were you here again ?" He looked at me .
I said :" I was here because I owe you an ap-"
" We are here to give you this books , Sir ." Evie said as I was still confused . She took the books and put them on the table . She waved at the principal and asked :" Shall we go now ?"
Principal shook his head as approval and murmured :" Yea .. Sure ."
I sighed and followed Evie out . She turned around and said :" Did you see her ?" She was sounding like she was kinda nervous though .
" I .. just saw a.." I said as Evie turned around and stared at the horizon as she was scanning it to find Mal .
" Oh there she is !!!" Evie said and waved at somewhere I couldn't see . School bell rang and Evie turned around and said :" What do you say if we go and greet her ? She deserves a thank you I guess ." She said and I shrugged thinking about Mal . Why did she do it ? How are these very different people , friends ?!
I followed Evie till we get to Mal and Jay who were talking . I didn't know what to do .. I didn't even know if I can believe what's happening right now !!!
I stood beside Evie and kept my head down . I couldn't keep my eye contact with Mal and Jay ; Especially Mal .. Her green eyes had this magnetic force which would pull me into another place ... Somewhere different than world ! Different in a goodway . It was like those eyes had their own galaxies .. Their own world !
Evie nervously scratched her arm and tapped me on shoulder and said :" Carlos ? She is Mal and he is .. Jay ."
I slowly looked at them both which were not so excited . Finally Jay said :" Seriously what are we doing ?" He asked with his armscrossed . He was wearing his red beenie and leather brown-red jacket again .
" I'm introducing you guys !" Evie said .
" Evie , We already know -" Mal said .
Evie said :" Yes I know you know eachother but you don't have any good memories from eachother ! We can be friends ! Carlos is so sweet and kind .." I slowly faked a smile and looked at Evie who was talking about me in this way . She was a true angel ! My guardian angel ... She looked as cold and heartless as the color of her hair buther heart was warmed by the kindness which was filled inside . She wasn't acting like The Evil queen's daughter . She was not even a little bit evil ... She was just a little bit flirty .
Mal rolled her eyes and said :" He could've defeat himself , by himself but he couldn't !"
Jay compeleted her sentence :" Because he's a loser and runty ..." Then he looked at me in a threatening way .
Evie put her hand on Jay's chest which was 5 centimeters away from me and was blowing his warm angry and fiery breath in my face and said :" Forget everything you said ! We are gonna be friends ! Even if you guys don't want to .." Evie said .
"Evie .. Can we talk ?" I asked as I couldn't even look at their faces .
Evie sighed . " Sure . Where ?" She asked .
I pointed at the backyard and said :" There .." Evie shook her head as approval snd told her friends that she'll be back soon .
We entered the backyard and I nervously thought about the things I was about to say ..
