Nahyuta POV

[ The young sovereign rode the spotted horse out into the woods and into an obscure village known as the Kurain Village. Commoners were dispersed along the land exchanging their products and trading amongst themselves. Back in the Kingdom of Khura'in, the palace people were in chaos. The kingdom's guards searched for the prince all over the place. The kingdom was flipped upside down. The woman at the stable was currently in questioning regarding the whereabouts of the ruler. Princess Skye was enraged and Queen Amara and her daughter Rayfa Padma quickly attempted to ease the burden on the princess. ]

I have arrived at the Kurain Village and it wasn't in any way similar to I was used to. Colorful banners hung down a long rough pathway. Little shops on either side exchanging and selling anything they could get their hands on. This spot resembled a carnival. The commoners dissipated the lanes pushing and shoving through each other with their huge crates and horses conveying carts full of products.

This is not at all like what I have ever seen. Why didn't the kingdom give provide funding to these vulnerable souls. The kingdom had lots of money, however none was surrendered to construct this town. It must of been because of that incident.

The minister of justice, Inga Karkhuul, he was a monster who deserved no forgiveness. Not only did he slaughter my father he authorized numerous laws that forestalled that people other than our kingdom to get financing. Inga was a power-hungry man and used his status as clergyman to be of more importance than others. He made not at all subtle provocations towards others and in the event that they didn't conform to his requests he would sign execution orders. He made our nation destroyed. It is the reason the Defiant Dragons exist, to stop individuals like him and to fix our nation.

I would understand why this town would detest the people of the royal family. I can't accept that man as my uncle. I shake of my thoughts and ride Shoe through the horde of dirty commoners. They all gave me strange looks and most likely knew I was the "enemy." Once Shoe and I arrived at the finish of the bazaar I jumped off him and attached a rope to a wooden peg.

I have to find some place to stay yet every one of these houses were in terrible condition. I search around the ineffectively assembled house and discover one that looks good enough to stay in. The paint on the walls were stripping and there was a sign on the entryway with the name Sahdmadhi written on it.

The sign seemed as though it was come smashing down at any moment. Why did it have my name on it? I walk gradually to the wooden door and place my hand on the wood. It felt nice, almost familiar.

I knocked delicately on the door and waited to see whether anybody lived here or if anybody would reply. This is a bad idea Nahyuta, for all I know this person could be a murder prepared to capture a prince such as myself. I was ready to leave when the door squeaked open. There I saw a tall pale man with long wavy dark hair. He had a patch of white hair on the edge of his bangs and was wearing a black and white get up to go with his emo appearance. He had dull lines under his eyes and I tired to decipher whether those were eyebags or tear stains.

Would a big guy like him have the opportunity to cry? He probably was the reason someone would cry. He kidnaps children and eats them for dinner! I shake of the thought and take a look at him. He seems to be around to two inches taller than myself and it appeared as though he was a sword wielding samurai.

"What do you need Braid Head?" protested the pale man.

What did he simply call me?

"My name isn't Braid Head, My name is Nahyuta Sahdmadhi Khura'in and I happen to be royalty. So you ought to have regard for your ruler"

The man chuckled while pounding his fist on the door. "Royalty? Who cares if your an noblemen. The people in this village will just see you as an enemy." I scowled at him. Such insolence! I have never been able to receive such harsh words before in my life.

"It isn't the kingdoms fault for what that malevolent man did to your village! My father was killed by him and I will always remember it! You wouldn't understand, yet my dad was a bold leader who battled to bring change! He was rebel... The leader of the Defiant Dragons." I shouted, "Don't accuse my kingdom for that Inga's actions!"

The dark haired man looked aside and stated, "Things being what they are, Dhurke is your father, huh? That man who went on about dragon spirit or whatever?" I nod my head quickly. He laughed again, "You act a great deal like him you know?"

What ever does he mean by that. My dad was daring and I am only a ruined ruler meandering aimlessly about my fathers teachings. I remember the day when Apollo and I got washed up by the stream and nearly drowned. Our dragon dad scooped us in his arms and cradled both of us till we stopped crying.

Tears began filling my eyes and I turned my face to shroud the humiliating appearance all over my face. "Hey Braid Head, in the event that you are royalty, then what are you doing in this village as opposed to being in your royal residence?" I wipe my face and go to take a look at the man. He looked frightening and dim and with the aura he gave off, such an awful vibe.

Why he say he was so interested by my royal life? Two minutes prior he was driving me away like the enemy and now he wants to become familiar with me. "I don't got all day His Ephemeral Holiness." I actually thought he was beginning to be friendlier yet he had to hit me with the stupid nicknames once more.

"I ran away.." I answered to the irritated man.

He cocked his head and chuckled loudly again. He was pounding much harder practically startling me. "What is this? His Holiness ran away from his comfortable life in the royal residence to go to some obscure town to try to vent to the village people, Don't make me laugh."

I nibble my lip anxiously. That is not why i'm here. I fled because I didn't want to wed princess Ema. I murmur, "No, that isn't the reason I came here today. I didn't come into this dirty village to come vent my issues to some emo reverse panda."

He grumbled, "Spare me the details Sad Monk." Who does this man think he is? "Alright.. I know we aren't getting along, but please let me stay in your home. I need to avoid the royal gaurds and I have no place to stay." I got down on my knees and bowed. My white pants dirtied by the dry soil. He rubbed his neck a grumbled, "I guess you leave me with no choice Braid Head."

He tossed out his hand for me to grab and I got up off the hard ground. He swiped his hand back fast once I got up and turned his face and strolled inside. The spot was dark matching his emo persona, there was dust and cobwebs all over the place and a torn and beat up sofa. Everything looked sensible till I heard a squawking noise. I look to the corner of the house to see a hawk perched on a heap of books. I guess the man saw I was taking a gander at the bird since he stated, "That is Taka, he is my pet hawk." I swallow down my dread and walk closer to the man.

"By the way, the name is Simon, Simon Blackquill." What a fitting name for a drag like him. He brings me into another room and there laid one giant mat on the floor. "That is our bed, unless you want to sleep with the hawk on the sofa." He grins slyly.

This man has left me with no choice but to rest on this dirty mat with a single blanket and a cushion. If I could find the opportunity possibly when he is out of house, which seems as though he doesn't do frequently considering his skin tone, perhaps I can purchase furniture and tidy the place up to my liking.

"I know this is isn't what you're exactly used to Sad Monk, but this is all we got in this pathetic town and I manage with it." I glare at him and thud down on the sofa. I glance around hoping there is something to entertain me. All there is are shelves fixed with dusty books. I sigh and lay my head on the arm rest.

Simon strolls toward the door and says, "I am going to buy some watermelons at the bazaar." I wave farewell and he leaves. This is my opportunity fix this dark den.
