Simon's POV

The silence among the two of us was awkward and uncomfortable. Where was Nahyuta's mother taking me? She was strolling forward confidently without stopping to check that I was still behind, yet I suppose she could hear my dark black boots trailing close by.

Wasn't the queen going to ask me a few questions? I haven't heard her talk since we began walking, however that wasn't my concern at this moment. My concern is about Nahyuta's whereabouts.

Where did that dumb braid head go?

The sovereign leads me the same hallway where Nahyuta and I were approached by that princess. We enter the corridor and locate that same woman on her knees crying repulsively loud. The queen goes to the dainty young princess and cradles her in her arms.

"Princess Ema, what had ever occurred to get you all flustered like this? Try not to cry you will just become more distressed."

The young princess sniffled into the womans long lilac hair and looked up to face me. She gave me an wicked grin and then returned to her noisy cries.

"N-Nahyuta...my dear prince he fled from me..."

She muttered through whimpers. I could peruse each and every feeling through those words that the princess spoke and she didn't feel even the smallest ounce of misery she only felt furious.

The sovereign's face never showed signs of change from its calm state, yet I could feel the anger bubbling within her body too. What was going on here?  I don't understand, I feel strange and left out in this kingdom.

That last bit of her irritating cries she said something regarding Nahyuta fleeing. Did Nahyuta truly hate living here that much that he had to leave his family heartbroken? The queen relinquishes the little girl and wipes her phony tears and goes to confront me.

She stared me somewhere deep in my eyes, and at the same time kept a sweet face, it was genuinely terrifying me at this point.

"Blackquill, do you have a comment about this, perhaps why my child decided to flee for the second time?"

I shake my head and she sighs quietly.

Was she was associating me with encouraging the stupid braid head?

She gets up off her knees and helps the youthful princess up also. She strolls closer still not taking her eyes of me.

"Blackquill, let me set this forth simply so I don't lose composure... Where is my sweet Nahyuta!?"

She began panicking. I am convinced, this entire family is full of mood swings. One moment she appeared calm and the following she is an emotional roller coaster. The lilac haired woman began crying, yet I just remained there. I am not the best with emotional support particularly this sort of stuff.

I don't get it any longer. What the hell is happening? The princess pulled something shiny out of her dress and it appeared as though she went to pat the queens back. The princess drew nearer to the woman's ear and murmured something, however I was unable to hear what it was.

The lilac haired quuen's emerald orbs widened with shock and her dress started filling up with blood in the stomach area.

Wait... BLOOD!?

The woman's eyes shut and she tumbles down on the ground hard

The woman's eyes shut and she tumbles down on the ground hard. Blood overflowed the ground and in her hair.

A pool framed directly before me and the flashbacks of miss Metis' cold dead body returned to my thoughts once again. I was unable to try and fathom what was going on, and my thoughts started to control my mind.

Metis... Your cold lifeless corpse laid there.. The pool that was trickling out of you starting to dry and the samurai blade you cherished being the one to slaughter you as it laid on the ground as limp as you were. Athena.... Your daughter had blood splashed from her face to her hands simply waiting there for her repairs to work as she watched you cold body. She said she needed to fix you Metis... To fix what was already done... Oh Metis if I had just arrived sooner... Maybe you would still be here..

I was pushed awake from my hell by a thin man with a lilac braid following behind him. He had the prettiest lush green eyes that just gazed at me pitifully. It was ....

Nahyuta Sahdmadhi...

... Had he been my prince to wake me up from my everlasting slumber? He stood there staring at me with... tears!

His delicate face currently reddened and the tears overflowed the man's eyes.

Wasn't he running away from here?

"Simon!..."

little cries erupted from the man before me. I turn over to look at the queen who laid there in the pool she produced and her eyes shut tenderly.

She isn't dead!

She can't be dead!

I try to go check on the unconscious queen, yet Nahyuta pulled at my sleeve.

"Simon... Stay.. Please don't leave me!"

I detected his feelings and discovered he was seriously distressed by the discord that filled his heart. I remain close to Nahyuta and watch the lilac haired woman's body remain lifeless.

When I remember, where was that young princess?

She should of been the person who stabbed queen Amara. I glance around the hallway, however no luck. Did she run away after committing her crime?

Nahyuta latched on to my chest and cried into my clothing. It dampened up with tears quickly and I could feel the fabric getting wet. I didn't have any idea of what to do, but to just stand there and let the lilac haired man use me as a human tissue.

I place my hand in his hair and ruffle it a bit of trusting he accepts it as a consoling gesture. The crying quiets down a bit and I begin to rub my hand on the princes shoulders.

His cries subside into sniffles and he looks up at me. His eyes were crimson from the strain and his viridescent orbs glistened at me. I take my free hand and wipe the remainder of the tears from his red face, he flushed and turned away from my dim eyes.

Was he was humiliated that he had cried in front of me?

The braid head pushed from me and murmured,

"Thank you for reassuring me Panda..."

he investigated at his mother. A couple of the royal medics were here, yet none of them could stop the bleeding. If they didn't do something fast the queen will bleed out.

They took out a S-CUT and clipped away at the stomach portion of her dress. They began doing their regular doctor thing. When the flowing decreased they called more enlists to take the lavender haired lady to the infirmary for repairs.

One by one they hauled her away and the pool of blood she abandoned stayed on the ground starting to stain the flooring. Nahyuta took a gander at the bloody mess and it made him gag.

I never figured I would encounter an assassination of royalty, and I wish I hadn't. I felt awful for Nahyuta to have to encounter his mother bleeding to death.

It was similar to miss Metis's death that it was practically the same.

I remembered it almost like it was a bad dream only difference is that it was real.

I hope everything with be alright..
