Nahyuta POV

-

The boy walked along the halls alongside me till we reached the Audience chamber. There I am approached by hordes of people shouting.

They all yelled annoyingly "Ur Dihara Khura'in!"

Who let these loud pigs in the palace. Who ever it is will be a same individual to accompany them out of here. I walk down the ethnic floor covering to find the youthful princess waiting elegantly for my arrival.

I bow and state, "Hap'piraki your Benevolence. You look as beautiful as a Nahmanda."

She giggles softly and says, "Gracious, I'm very flattered prince Sahdmadhi."

I hate how she says my name and how it rolls of her tongue. I know it isn't her fault that we are getting married, but I would prefer not to be married to somebody I barely know rather attracted to. She walks over nimbly and cups my face in her little hands tenderly and pulls my head near her lips.

She murmurs, "I can hardly wait to be queen with you my dear."

I shock back and the crowd gasps she looked furious that I acted such a way so she returned to her saintly persona and smiles softly,

"All of Khura'in settle down, my sweet prince here is simply excited for the upcoming wedding." She entwined her arm through mine and set her head on my shoulder, "Isn't that right?"

I fake a smile and answer, "Ah truly, me and her Benevolence are both glad to be together for this wonderful event."

The horde of people yell again, "Ur Dihara Khura'in!" I wave at them and we walk to the steps to go into the hall. She squeezes my arm and says viciously, "Wonderful, keep cooperating, if you should simply endure the wedding with a similar acting, I am one step closer to being queen."

She plastered on her fake smile as my mother walks a few doors down.

"My, my, you have discovered the beautiful princess with no difficulty my sweet Nahyuta."

I nod as she spreads her arms outward. "I will tell the rest of the kingdom about my delight. I hope that they will show you around the royal residence." she says sweetly.

My mother doesn't realize she is being pulled in by a string of lies and is blinded by princess Skye's falsehoods and trickeries. I wish I could simply flee from this palace, yet it is difficult being a prince and already perceived by everybody in the kingdom. I won't permit this pitiable phony to take what the gracious Holy Mother has granted us.

As the royal family of Khura'in we should keep our inheritance of spirituality and leave the untruths and double dealing outside of our kingdom walls. We should lead the kingdom the same way the founder has led us all these years.

Her Benevolence bows, "I am so appreciative to the Holy Mother who allowed this marriage with my sweet prince. Much thanks to you, your Excellency."

Amara smiles sweetly and her aura radiates purity. A rumor has been going around about my mother, queen Amara is a human embodiment of the Holy Mother. It does feel that way sometimes, my mother has consistently been so unadulterated and always had a cleansed soul. She has strong spiritual powers that practically descended directly from the benevolent founder herself.

Here in Khura'in, strong spiritual power implied that you were royalty, without it you were an ordinary person among others. I, myself come up short on the abilty to channel spirits, so instead I am a monk for the Tehm'pul Temple.

It is common for us royalty to have arranged marriages with other royals since we can't permit noblemen such as ourselves to wed a sinful, useless commoner rather we wed our cousins or distant noble families. No one to date has ever complained about their arrangements and generally get along with their forever partner, besides myself I can't be with the princess.

I wish it didn't have to be like this, however, if I deny, my existence in the wake of death will be spent in Pahpul Boljhig to be an eternal fallen one.
