Snack Time

While Namjoon's demeanor had improved, my lungs were sinking into my stomach. I would eventually have to face the truth. I wasn't going to the Academy with Namjoon. I chug down my soda and jump to my feet.

"Ok Joon, let's walk down to the convenience store and get some snacks." I demand, grabbing his arm, pulling him towards the street. He slips out of my grasp, giving me a sly glare.

"Are snacks supposed to distract me?" While he sounds annoyed, he grabs his backpack out of the car and walks out with me.

"Well, I figured with the right snacks....yes." He just shakes his head at me and starts to walk faster. Clearly this meant that he was mad and wanted me to 'hurry up' and apologize. It's something he's done since we were kids, and usually it worked.

I groan to myself, feeling the defeat, as I run to catch up to him. I grab him by his bag, pulling him to a stop. He rolls his eyes as he looks down on me.

"Look, I'm sorry I didn't apply like I promised. I just didn't want to go straight into more studying." My shoulders sink. And rather than feeling better for telling him the truth, I actually feel worse. Now I wish I had applied, even if I didn't get accepted.

Namjoon snickers and places his hands on his hips before speaking. "Feel bad?" His attempt at maintaining a straight face confuses me. He doesn't seem to be mad anymore.

"Yeah, a little..."

"Good!" he laughs triumphantly, walking away. "By the way, I want sweet potato chips and a package of banana choco pies." Yup, I'm paying. I run after him again.

"You want a strawberry boba too?" He's obviously going to need a drink to enjoy with his snack.

"Only if you're getting one. I know you like the chocolate peanut butter banana blend." He gives me a sideways glance, the kind that tells me he's got something up his sleeve.

But what???

Sorry for the long wait!!!!

I know it should not take very long to write this short of a chapter. But the truth is I have been very distracted this past week.

I will post chapter 6 very soon (as soon as i write it XDDD).
