The next day you went to school and it was in Chemistry that the teacher announced that there was going to be a project which was worth 50% of your grade and you needed a partner. You and Peter immediately looked at each other, but the teacher had other plans. She paired the students herself. You were paired with a guy named Bryce, who was a sweet natured guy and plus he was kinda cute. On the other hand, Peter was paired with Mia, the hottest girl in school who had hit already hit on him several times🙄.
You now knew that you would be seeing Peter a little less because of this project. While Bryce kept on talking about ideas for the project,you not hearing a word just looked at Peter and Mia. You thought, "he appears to be having fun with her,even i should concentrate on my project." Saying this you made weak attempts to listen to Bryce.
TOM'S POV
"There she is Y/N Stark, with Bryce Montgomery, her partner laughing and joking with him." "Y/N has always been my bestfriend and i dont know when i developed feelings for her." A pang of jealousy hit Peter on seeing Y/N and Bryce together. Mia had already made attempts to flirt with Peter which he pretended not to understand. He could not think of anything except Y/N.
Y/N'S POV
In between your project you would take a glance at Peter and find him staring at you with an expression you couldnt quite decode. "Was it anger or jealousy?" You brushed away your thoughts just as Bryce invited you to a party he was hosting that night at his apartment.
After school, when Peter and you were going home, you told him about the party and asked him if he wanted to come. Peter wanting every chance to be with you agreed to go to the party.
STARK TOWER
You reached Stark Tower and went to the research room where you found your dad and asked him, "umm..ther..there is this guy, Bryce who is holding a party at his apartment today. If you dont mind can i go?" You asked. You saw Tony deliberating and before he could say anything you told him, "Peter will be there too!" Hearing Peter's name, Iron Dad relaxed and he knew Peter would keep you safe. Saying this you got permission to go to the party and decided to go shopping to buy clothes for the party. You went to the mall and bought some pretty dresses along with some shoes and started getting ready. You didnt know why but you wanted to look extra pretty today. For Peter.
