You felt something in the inner lining of the pillow. You opened it deeper and your joy knew no bounds. It was your ring, it must have fallen when you got up.
" omg i found it!" You screamt.
" what?" You heard your mom.
" my ring mom! It was here only." You said unable to control your excitement.
You then went to the laboratary where your dad was sitting with Cap, Peter, Thor and Wanda.
" dad loook at this! I found it! We searched the whole house but it was inside the couch pillow!" You said.
" okay congratulations." Your dad said smiling.
You didnt directly tell Peter because you were upset and annoyed at him. You made eye contact with him for a split second and then exited the room.
You went up to your room and put on your ring properly.
" i am going to guard this thing for the rest of my freaking life now." You said to yourself.
" i am sure you will." You saw Peter in the doorway smiling at you.
" wow suddenly you can think i can take care of it. Just leave i am really upset." You said.
" no i am not leaving baby unless you listen to me." He said to you.
"Okay fine. Tell me." You said sighing.
" babe, i am so sorry." He said inching toward you. " think from my point of view. I mean i just thought that you might have lost it. Did you know how i felt? Like having the person you love the most in the world, thinking that she lost the best gift you had given her. And its not that i dont trust you, you know i would trust you with my life. You are my fiancèe, my soulmate." He said, putting his hands and holding your arms.
You were speechless, you actually didnt know what to say. You saw that soft look in his eyes and you knew he meant every single word he said. Without saying anything, you smashed your lips onto his.
" so should i take that as a yes, i am not upset anymore?" Peter laughed.
" way to ruin the moment." You said glaring at him.
" i love you. Why are you so precious?" He said looking at you.
" awww." You said hugging him.
" babe i have a surprize for you." You said pulling Peter to the living room.
At that time, you heard the bell ring and May and Happy arrived together.
" wait Happy and May? When did this happened?" You asked bewildered.
" what Happy and May?" Your clueless dad asked.
" they are together, Tony." Your mom said clearly thinking how such an intelligent person could behave so dumb at times.
" wait, Happy, my head of security and May, Peter's aunt." Your dad asked clearly confused.
" yes, Tony." Captain said,clearly annoyed.
Everyone turned to glance at both of them who were clearly embarrased.
" how did this happened? Babe you knew about it?" You asked Peter.
" i mean i knew that she was meeting a guy, but Happy! Wow." Peter said clearly shocked.
" guess we both are more similar than we thought." May shrugged.
" aww you both are cute." You said.
" babe, not that i am impatient but my surprize?" Peter asked pouting.
" oh sorry, i forgot in all this. But good that everyone is here." You said.
" Peter, i couldnt be happier to be getting married to you. You were an amazing boyfriend, an excellent fiancè and i know you are going to be the best husband and the best father. I cant wait to call you my husband. Babe, you have done so much for me and stood by my side for everything, and so as a way to repay all of it, i have arranged for us to go to Paris for our honeymoon. I remembered how when we were kids, you had once told me that your dream in the world was to go to the top of Eifel Tower with your wife. At that time, i thought that girl was going to be a lucky one, i mean if someone had told me i was going to be her, i would have probably laughed. I love you babe." You said and then turned your phone towards him where you had booked the tickets.
His eyes widened and you saw a tear escape his eyes, " babe i am going to try my best to be your idea of a perfect man. And i am always going to stand by you, and be your rock. I mean you didnt have to repay me, as its my duty. But this, its just the best thing someone has ever done for me. You actually remembered that talk we had about Paris. I cant believe it. And trust me, i am going to be the luckier one being called your husband." He completed.
He then hugged you and kissed you and you saw everyone was almost teary eyed.
"You guys are really cute." Nat said.
"This is the sweetest thing ever." Thor said.
" my boy is so lucky." May said through sobs.
You then went to your parents and hugged them both. It was a merry time and then everyone enjoyed.
Finally it was time for Peter to leave.
" dont go. I miss you." You said pouting.
" only 3 more weeks babe, then i wont ever leave. My face will be the first and last face you will see in the morning and at night. You are gonna get seriously annoyed. Living with me is not easy." He smirked.
" oh come on, i could never get tired of that pretty face. And also clearly you have never lived with me Mr." You winked.
" bye." He said hugging you once again.
" bye."
You then went to your room and after changing you got a notification that Peter had posted.
