BROKEN HEARTS AND HANDS

You were held by a pair of steady hands.. Looking up, you saw it was Peter. Seeing him, you smiled at him and regained strength. By that time, Bryce had also spotted you and came up to you. He made weak attempts at apologizing to you. You however were in no mood to listen to his bs. You had a glass of juice in your hand, which you threw it at Bryce's face. Peter was all the while next to you. This scene had been recorded by a girl and it was all over instagram. You decide to leave from there, however Peter held you back. You told him, " i wanna be alone." You knew he wouldnt listen to you. He took you to his car and drove you to his home. Although you appeared strong, in front of Peter, you were a crying mess. You could see the concern in his eyes.

You arrived at his house, it was past your curfew. Peter called Nat and informed him you were with him, not wanting to call Tony because he was scared. Bringing you in, he gave you one of his hoodies and you went to change. By the time you arrived, he had already set up a blanket fort, ordered takeout and set up a screening of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. You were really lucky to have him in your life. You went upto him and hugged him tight. Both of you hugged for few minutes, not saying anything. You finally let go and told him, "thank you for every damn thing you have done for this pathetic little weirdo." He told you, " first of all, you are not a pathetic little weirdo. You are my bestest friends in the whole wide universe. And about Bryce, he is a jerk. To let go off you. You deserve a guy who shows you off to the world and is happy to have you. And also, is it too soon to say i told you so?" You heard his little speech and there was an awkward moment between you all. You felt he leaned in just about to kiss you, however he backed out then. You spent that night, cuddling together and watching tv.

NEXT DAY

Peter took you back to Stark Towers. Everyone already knew what had happened. On seeing you, Tony said, " m going to kick that guy's ass. He dare to cheat on MY daughter." He was furious. You told him, " he anyways didnt deserve me, i ll find someone better who shows me off." Saying this,you looked at Peter who smiled. You then set off for school.

You were the talk of the school. Everyone spoke about how badass you were and you had put Bryce in his place. You were like some sort of a heroine. Peter was there with you throughout by your side. He was secretely glad he had got his bestfriend back. However you both were thinking about the moment yesterday night. You soon pushed it out of your mind. Peter however knew that he was lucky Bryce had cheated on you, he wanted to tell you everything he felt and tell you he liked you. So so much. However he was scared because Bryce meant too much to you and it was too soon. He was scared of Tony too. He felt your father would never let you date another guy now. On the other hand, you were pre occupied by your own thoughts. Your mind was a mess. Your feelings for Peter had resurfaced after last night. You liked him. It felt good to say that. However, you knew probably he didnt feel the same. Little did you not know he was falling for you too. However you were still sad about Bryce and constantly thought about him. You thought he was the one for you. You couldnt help but blame yourself. Were not you good enough for him? You had given him all your affection and this was the prize he paid? By treating you like this? Although you had succedd in proving to everyone you were okay buy you would start crying anytime during the day unaware of your surroundings and you cried yourself to sleep at night. However Peter was always with you, to console you, hug you, mend your broken heart and tell you everything would be alright

At lunch, you were sitting with Peter and showing him an Avengers video when Bryce came. He created a big scene in front of the school about apologizing to you. You however not bothered took off with Peter. A week passed, Bryce still followed you around like a puppy. Peter and your friendship was stronger than before. Until one day, Bryce crossed his limits.
