at first,
i would listen to music
for enjoyment.
but now it seems
that the only reason
that i listen is to block
outside noise.
even the forgein
ones inside.

i would listen to artists
based off enjoyment.
but now it seems
that the only way
i listen to an artist
depends on how deaf
the music makes me.
which still isn't loud enough.
