8 months Later...

I stood on the balcony, overlooking a sea gold, Clary by my side. Izzy and Simon were on my left, Magnus and Alec on my right. It was a dream vision. Idris was basking in gold colours for the occasion, glinting in the shining sun. I drew my beautiful newly wed wife with her big baby bump in closer. She smiled and flicked her beautiful red hair back across her shoulder. I suddenly pulled her in for a passionate kiss and she pulled in closer. My ears filled with the roar of the kiss and I could faintly hear applaud from the crowd. Reluctantly, I broke this kiss and grinned cocksurely. I scanned the crowd and suddenly saw someone. Sebastian. I muttered something Clary and she did the same to Izzy, Simon, Alec and Magnus. They waved once more and turned around to leave, Clary protectively placed her hand on her bump and Izzy led her out. I followed them out, racing down the steps as fast as I could in the stiff gold suit. I could feel Alec behind me as I pushed the doors open into the crowd people. I pushed past them all and came to the space where he was. I was sure of it. He wasn't there. Instead, The Consul and Inquisitor smiled at me. "Looking for us, Mr Herondale?" Asked the inquisitor. He smiled at the place to my left with sleepy, heavy eyes. "Umm, sorry. I must... Umm... Check..." I fled to the doors, my heart pounding. Alec was explaining, with a pained expression, the Consul about my behaviour. He glanced back at me and I smiled, keeping up the pretence for the Consul.
I burst the the double doors, my heart pounding. Izzy was there, blood all over her bridesmaids gown, a great gash on her chest. She was panting, her hair a bloody mess framed around her head. "I tried... to stop him... He took..." but she couldn't speak any longer. She coughed, great hacking coughs that made her spit blood. Alarmed, I led her to sit down on a lounge, but she had stopped coughing. She toppled over and I caught her before she hit the floor. She was a limp puppet in my hands, still and silent. I lay her gently on the cream sofa, now covered in Izzy's blood. Frantically, I searched for a stele, but my stupid suit had no pockets. "ALEC!" I bellowed, and he came flying in. He wasted no time, grabbing a stele and tracing multiple iratzes around her body. "Go Jace. See if Clary is all right. Izzy's with me," I lingered, not sure what to do. "Go!" I fled into the next room where Clary was sure to be. Simon was there, lying on the floor with his hood up, face down. "Simon." I whispered. He didn't answer. I cautiously moved across the room, tense. I whipped back the hood, Simon's bushy brown hair sprinting out of its cage.
