Argh, I'm late! I think as I hear the bell ring while I walk to my classroom. Luckily my teacher isn't there yet I discover as I enter the room. I walk to my seat and see Elsa drawing on hers.
She's too caught up to notice me but when the teacher enters the room she gives me a quick glance.

Mrs Yusa greets us and then tells us
"You had stories with dialogies to write until today, I hope you all brought them with you, because now you're going to read them in groups of 4.
Please find people to work with otherwise I'll have to sort you on my own."

I look around to see the students walking towards their friends, some quicker than others. Elsa.. Elsa is my friend right? I look at her, she's already looking at me.
"Wanna go in one group?" She asks. The people around us look at her surprised. One of the girls whispers "She's never asked anyone to go in her group.." towards her friends.

"Sure." I say as I hope my face isn't getting red. I go towards her and tell the people around us who are still looking.
"Any two people wanna join?"
"I guess we will." Two other boys, rather shy ones say.
"Good, everyone's found a group." Even Mrs Yusa is looking at Elsa.. I read her mind..
~Who would've thought Elsa would ever.. ask someone to join her for a group work.. how exciting! She's weird but .. Ah tell the tasks!~
"Now get out your stories and pass them to the person on your right. After 5 minutes well switch again."
I get out mine.. butterfly and caterpillar.. right he dies at the end because he doesn't believe he could be as beautiful as a butterfly.
"Well let's start!" I tell everyone as we pass our stories. I have Elsas. I'm very interested to see what she wrote.

Every winter the snowman watched over her. She didn't know but that was alright. As long as she played with her from the moment on she built him he'd have the best time of his life. Then after winter he'd fall into a deep slumber until the next one when the girl, her name was Lacy, built him again.

Just seeing her happy made him happy. Every goodbye wasn't a sad one to him because he knew they would see each other again. But then.. Lacy grew up. Her little sister, Alice still built him. In a different way though. He missed Lacy a lot. One day she finally came out with Alice.

She saw them play, it made him happy but not as happy as when she played with him. Then he heard Alice say
"What do you think about the snowman I built? I named him Tony."
The snowman watched Lacy hopeful. Maybe just this time they could have fun together?
"What snowman?" She looked around and saw right through him.
"The one right there!" Alice said as she pointed at him.
"Very funny joke, Alice, there is no snowman!"
"No Lacy, you're the one who's joking!"

"Dinners ready!" Came the voice of their parents our of their house
"Whatever. I heard they made tomato soup!" Lacy said. Alice laughed. "Yey! Let's go." They both went inside.
Tony was hurt. Deeply hurt. He didn't know that growing up would mean Lacy would forget about him. It was even worse than her not playing with him, she forgot about him.

That's.. sad.. snowmans.. huh, reminds me a little of man in moon. Only I can talk to him like only Alice can see that snowman. What if the person man in moon is looking for is like Lacy? Once they were with man in moon but then got here on earth? Stupid, I'm just interpreting again..

The story has a sad ending.. Just like mine. Not for the kids but the snowman. And it has a message. That when youre a child you believe in things. Things that adults won't even notice anymore. I think about it.. it fits to Elsa. She believes in the good in everything while most other people often don't notice it. it's blocked out by thoughts like 'Why can't I be like her/him?' 'If only I had that one thing, then I'd be happy..' and many others..

"Okay, your five minutes are over, please pass the story to the next person!" Mrs Yusa tells us.
I pass mine to the boy on in front of me, Elsa gives me the one she read. I look at her, she just looks at the paper. What may she think about her story? And about mine? After this one she'll read it. Maybe we can talk about the stories during the break.

I start reading the next one..
After 5 minutes the other one.
They were similar to each other, both a happy ending and two people, once a parent and their son and once two friends talking to each other. They were simple, there was no big message but at least they were easy to read.

"Ok you should be done reading now, next you'll do a short comment, just half a page on one of the stories you read. Please make sure everyone in the group gets one comment."
We look at each other in the group. I see the two boys staring at Elsa. I feel a bit of anger coming up I inside of me.. Relax Jack, have they ever talked to her? No. They just notice that she's pretty. Who wouldn't.

Elsa looks at me. "I want to comment yours if that's ok." She says.
"Yeah, go ahead. Is that ok for you too?"
I look at the boys in front of me. I quickly read one of their minds just because..
~Aw man, why won't she comment on mine.. That loverboy really changed her.. But maybe I can go up to her one break and then we'll talk and ... go somewhere and she'd wear a tight dress..~
Argh.. I have to stop him
"Is that ok?" I ask a little louder, trying to hold my anger back
It works, he snaps out of thought and the other boy says "Yeah, yeah well just comment on each others right?" "Yes." The other boy says and they exchange their stories.

I see Elsa looking at me a little worried but I quickly smile at her and the worry on her face goes away.
"Here's mine." I say as I give her my story, she gives me hers.
I write down some of the thoughts I had after reading, not the ones about her though. Just about the overall message and I also comment on her spelling, language style and the characters. Overall I don't really have anything to criticise. She has 2 spelling mistakes, that's all.

The bell rings and our teacher says
"Looks like it's time for the break, please finish your comment if you haven't already until next lesson!"
With that, everyone goes back to their original places and packs their stuff. Break time. Maybe Elsa and I will talk. Let's just go outside.
