(i saw this really cute video on tiktok and i needed to write jj into it because he's too much)

you and your boyfriend laid on your couch hands intertwined. this was one of the rare times you had some time alone together away from the gang seeing as the pogues,(and sarah) didn't seem to know the definition of space.

you and jj had spent most of the day surfing, something you both had loved since you were young. jj of course thought you were better, but would never admit it out loud.

once you got back to your place which you shared with just your brother, who was currently at work. you both decided to skip the shower out of exhaustion, and after grabbing clean clothes you plopped right down on to the couch. you snuggled into him wrapped in his soft grey long sleeve and turned on a movie.

after getting about halfway through iron man 2 (you had been forcing him to watch the marvel movies in order) jj unlaced his fingers with yours and moved to the kitchen to grab snacks.

right as he got up your phone started ringing. you saw the name of one of your friends who lived out of state pop up on your screen and quickly answered it.

"hey babe it's been to long!"

jjs head popped out of the kitchen looking confused at the word babe. of course, you called both sarah and kie babe ( which had almost blown your cover when you and jj first started dating and you had been keeping it secret but that's for another time...)

still, when jj heard you call this unknown person babe of course he was gonna be curious. he pointed to the phone with a quizzical look and you waved him off.

"i know. i miss you too. how are you? how's my little man?"

at this jj gave you an alarmed look and started waving his hands frantically from the phone to you. rolling your eyes you covered the speaker and mouthed.

jj started mouthing words really quickly and you couldn't understand a word. you snapped your fingers in his face a few times and he gave you a offended look before you pointed to a pad of paper on the edge of the counter, which he grabbed along with a pen and handed to you.

laughing at what your friend had said you quickly scribbled down "old friend from colorado"

"aww tell him i miss him too and i'll give him all the cuddles when i come visit"

jj gave you an affronted look and wrote back "him??? who is your little man???"

you ignored him jabbing the paper in front of you.

"not much, i'm just hanging out with a friend right now."

at the words friend jj gave you a hurt look and tapped your shoulder "excuse me" he said quietly. you held up a "in a minute" gesture. he huffed and started sadly eating some chips. you looked at him questionably but he just continued eating his chips.

"no no that's totally ok call me back later i love you! talk soon. bye."

hanging up the phone you looked at your boyfriend who was still ignoring you. "what was that about?" you scooted closer to him and made him look at you.

"if you're gonna call me your friend can you at least call me your best friend..."

you laughed before realizing he was serious. "oh my god. you are too cute" he seemed like he was about to protest but you cut him off with a short kiss.

"jj, baby, you are my very best friend. if i has told her that i was with my amazing boyfriend i had texted her about we would have been on the phone for hours. and i want to spend time with you."

he made an o shape with his mouth and smiled before kissing you softly. " and you don't have a secret kid or boyfriend or anything?" "what!?" "little man?"

you started laughing at jjs worried face "little man is her dog jj." he gave you an embarrassed smile as you continued to laugh.

"ok ok but i had to check right!"

"oh if only john b and pope knew how soft you actually are."

"and they will never find out because i'm it's only for you."

"awww tough scary jj is an adorable sensitiv-"

"why don't we take that shower now. i'll show you how rough i can be..."

ok hi! i saw an adorable vid of this girl's boyfriend interrupting her on the phone and being like "excuse me can you at least say best friend." and i just pictured soft jj doing the same thing so i wrote this in bed in the morning. i hope you guys liked it, it was kinda short and most of my imagines will be longer. anyway thank you guys 🥰
