17 jumped up and landed on Gero's head smashing it into oblivion.

The five at the door stood there stunned, as 17 looked at them and walked off.
"So does this mean they're on our side?" Krillin asked no one inparticular. Trunks went super sayain and blasted the lab to pieces.
"Well, that settles that. You're *definitely* Vegeta's kid." Krillin said after the light of the blast cleared.
"So! You done throwing a hissy fit?" Vegeta turned his head slightly looking back at Trunks.
"At least I did something instead of just standing there, staring at them." Trunks yelled back.
"We do, do that a lot." Krillin said to no one.
The smoke cleared showing 17, 18 and the two pods in a red shield, perfectly fine.
"What? They're still alive?! But that was my strongest blast..."
"So you just *assumed* they were destroyed, then?" Vegeta had a smug tone to his voice.
"We do that a lot, too!" Krillin shouted to no one again.
"Besides, what exactly changed from you in the future and now?"
"More than I thought; less then you'd think." Trunks said spirit slightly crushed.
The shield then dissipated, 17 and 18 looked at each other, then to the pods. "That wasn't me..." 18 said looking at 17 and back to the pods.
"Looks like one already awake and just tried to protect us." 17 smirked and walk over to one and 18 pushed the button of 16's pod.
16's pod spoke, "Initializing 1 of 1,432-"
"Yeah screw that." 18 kicked his door off the pod. 17 pushed the button and it slightly opened. Before he could kick the door off it was punched off from the one inside.
A (h/c) haired girl fliped out on the opposite side 17 was on. "Ugh, there goes one of those shields." They pick the gem off their choker and pulled out a new one snapping it in.

(Here's the choker, just imagine the gem is one of the absorbing things Android 19 and Gero had. Only it spits out a shield to absorb the blast, each gem has one use.)
16 opened his eyes, and climbed out of the pod. 17 turned and looked at him, "Man, you are a tall bastard. So, fire-crotch, what's your name?"
The other Android growled to lightly for 17, and 18 to hear. "I am designated as Android 16."
"What are the odds?" 17 spoke and 18 responed with, "The old man did always have a one tract mind. What's your deal?"
"I am programmed with the sole purpose of murdering Son Goku." 16 responed in a more robot voice then the rest.
