The initial shock of seeing Jungkook around the workplace didn't really settle until Thursday for Taehyung.

But the distraction that is Kim Taehyung, never left Jungkook's mind, leaving him unable to work for at least two hours a day to rather chat with him.

After their talk on Monday, they didn't have time to spend with one another again. Jungkook's day filled with meetings from company partners and minority shareholders. While Taehyung simply did his job, and Goo's as well because honestly he had no idea how she got hired.

It wasn't that she was terrible. She could copy documents, print them, make a great cup of tea or coffee, run errands and just basically anything a normal human being should be capable of doing.

But when it came to drawing up schedules, sorting through files, organising folders for events and taking meeting minutes if one of the receptionists were needed, she was absolutely terrible at it.

It was great she had a pretty face, which is the only reason Taehyung thinks she was even considered for the job. As a receptionist, you're the first person anyone sees before they proceed to any other part of the building, so it's nice to have good looking people at the front desk.

Taehyung loved that mentality because it made him feel great about his job, knowing that he's indeed viewed as good looking but also that he's capable of doing his set work and more.

Someone else who's been getting more work lately is Jungkook. Despite he's two hour Taehyung time, Jungkook had been busy preparing for an upcoming company event. One that took up too much of his time than he wanted it to. But he couldn't not put his all into it, after all it was the annual company charity ball.

It was one of the biggest and most anticipated event of the year for Jeon & Co. Enterprises for varying reasons. For a few staff members, they got the week off work so that the auditorium could be transformed into a massive hall with round tables, a dancefloor and many more add ons. The transformation included the widening of the auditorium, which meant that certain doors, that kept that space separate from specific working areas, were opened which ultimately extended the venue.

The space was needed because the event was always attended by easily three thousand guests that were all involved with the company in some sort of way. From to staff, to all their partners, shareholders and all of their significant others as well.

The entire ordeal was driving Jungkook insane. The ball was in a month and there was a lot to be done in that short space of time. He had to pick a theme, hire a band, sort out catering and everything else that comes with party planning.

Now of course he had staff to do that for him, but he decided to finally used his status as head of the company to his advantage and plan it himself... With Taehyung.

He hadn't approached the other with the idea yet. His schedule will still too busy with many other things, and finally after today he'd have a bit of time to focus on the event hopefully with Taehyung by his side.

He tried to form an irresistible deal, offering to pay Taehyung more for exceeding his job entitlements while simultaneously lessening his work load since he's caught on to how Taehyung does Goo's work as well. Perhaps he should've thought beyond her looks when he hired her.

When he came in on Tuesday morning the poor girl was struggling to switch her monitor on, claiming that it was broken without even checking if it'd been plugged into the wall socket. He watched as a half asleep Taehyung tried to calm down the girl and ask her if it was plugged in but only received shouts in return.
