Chapter 1

Tae's POV

Tae: I'm serious Jin! I can't stay here anymore

Jin: I don't understand why though? I cook for you, I clean for you, I do your laundry, I set out your clothes, I prepare your lunch-

Tae: And while all of that is great, those are the reasons I have to get my own place...

Jin: Is it too overbearing Taehyung-ah? I can lay off if you want me to?

Tae: No Jin, there's nothing wrong with it. I love that you take care of me, I do, but I need to learn how to do all of those things by myself. I want to be more independent.

Jin: But you can be more independent here! You don't have to leave me to become independent!

Tae: Aish hyung, I'm not leaving you, I'm just moving out. And, the apartment I have my eye on is only a 10 minute walk from here.

Jin: Taehyun-

Tae: Hyung I'm leaving okay. There's nothing you can say to stop me. Don't be sad about it, be happy. Just think, now you can bring that handsome friend of yours back to an empty apartment. What was his name again...Nemjune...

Jin blushed and playfully shoved his best friend before silently correcting him with a hushed "it's Namjoon". Tae just laughed, loving the effect this Namjoon guy has on his best friend.

He knows how tough Jin has had it since he found out his previous partner cheated on him. So just seeing that wonderful smile on his face and the glow radiating off his skin, he's extremely thankful for Namjoon.

Jin: So when are you leaving me?

Jin asked while wiping a fake tear away from his cheek.

Tae: Ugh hyung you're so dramatic, and I'm not even moving that far from you. We'll still see each other everyday, or have you forgotten we work for the same company?

Jin: Okay fine, if Kim Taehyung thinks he can survive without me, than so be it. But, don't come crying to me when you realise how difficult it is to be by yourself and how good you had it here.

Jin flipped his imaginary hair and folded his arms with a "hmph".

Tae just laughed at his hyung. There's never a dull moment with him.

Tae: I'm going to miss you hyung, but I need to do this for me. All my life I've relied on others opinions and guidance, for once I want to be in control of my life...

Jin: Alright then, when do you plan on moving out?

Tae: As soon as the realtor gets back to me.

Jin: So you've already paid for this place?

Tae: The price was right, the destination is convenient and the place itself is so modern and chic, I wasn't going to miss out on it.

Jin slowly walked over to Tae and engulfed him into a warm hug which Tae returned. Ever since the age of 13, these two have been inseparable, so it is hard for both of them to accept that one is leaving but it had to happen eventually and 23 seemed to be the age it did.

It had been 4 days since Tae notified Jin he'd be leaving and a week since Tae sent in his application for the apartment, when finally on a late Wednesday afternoon, he received a confirmation email from his relator.

Kim Taehyung was now, officially, a home - well apartment - owner. He was ecstatic! He ran into Jin's bedroom, where the other was currently napping, and jumped on the sleeping man before proceeding to jump on the bed.
