No matter how badly Jungkook wanted to keep his promise and be home at a reasonable hour, he still found himself going home with another black haired beauty and ended up tangled in her bedsheets at two in the morning. A part of him was disappointed in himself for giving into the temptation, but the desperate side of him won out and he's selfishly very satisfied with the results.
He turned over to look at the naked girl sprawled out next to him. She was beautiful, no doubt about it. From her soft black hair, to the way her body curved perfectly right down to her toes. On top of that, she seemed to be a pretty decent person too. Well, from what Jungkook could gather in the short time they spoke before rushing over to her apartment and jumping each others bones, she seemed nice.
And despite all of these great things about her, that he'd managed to notice in minimal time, there was still something that held him back from even considering pursuing something with her.
She isn't Taehyung.
He hated the fact that he kept spiralling right back to the blue haired man. He was painfully aware of his feelings for him, but they couldn't run that deep if he's laying next to yet another girl. But that's just what he wanted to convince himself to think, the guilt was silently eating away at him the longer he laid there and for some reason, it felt like he cheated.
Admitting his feelings towards Taehyung to himself was probably one of the biggest mistakes Jungkook could've done. He wasn't even with the guy and already felt slightly disturbed by his behaviour tonight. He never thought anyone could make him feel this way again, and that alone scared him.
Anyone in their right mind would be scared. Scared to fall in love. Scared to get hurt. But those are the risks we take for the right people, and to Jungkook... Taehyung seems to fit that picture.
Suddenly he felt sick to his stomach at the thought of laying next to Adie. It had nothing to do with her, but everything to do with Taehyung and the way he feels about him. The realisation that Taehyung surely wouldn't fall for someone who messed around all the time, really dawned on him. If he was going to do something about it, then that means being honest about how he feels. Not only to himself, but everyone, Taehyung included.
He glanced over at the Adie one last time, silently thanking her for bringing him to probably one of his greatest realisations. He then carefully slipped out from underneath the covers, his naked frame now exposed to the cool night air and the beams of moonlight that shone through the exposed balcony door.
Those same beams helped Jungkook find all of his belongings in the dark room, picking up each item of clothing and quietly slipping it on before retreating back to the bed and reaching out to the table to pick up his wallet and cellphone.
He checked the device, noticing the three missed calls and two messages from Yoongi. He quickly sent his best friend a text to let him know that he's alright before switching the phone off again and picking up his shoes that laid next to him on the floor.
He then stood up and took a deep breath before walking towards the bedroom door. He turned the knob and opened the door but halted in his steps as a soft voice sounded behind him.
"Whatever is bothering you, I hope I could distract you from or come to terms with."
Jungkook turned around to see a stunning goddess draped in satin sheets with a soft smile spread across her face looking at him. He couldn't help but return the genuine smile and nod his head eagerly.
"I've definitely come to terms with everything. Thank you Adie." He gave her one last smile before turning around and exiting the bedroom, closing the door again before he left the apartment.
