6 months. it's been six months since brandon's doctor told him to do six months of physical therapy before he could go back to hockey. it was the day. today's the day brandon gets his life back on track.

"coach please!" brandon pleaded as he followed mr. lewis through the boys locker room and to his office.
"woah woah. look, york. im not saying no. all im saying is it's the last day of school." coach lewis said as he sat down in his chair. he sighed and said, "you just got off of physical therapy. i just think you need a bit more practice."
brandon stood in the doorway of the office, "so what do you suggest i do, coach?"
mr. lewis leaned on his desk and rubbed his temples, "how about this summer you spend some time on the ice and we'll talk in september."
"september?" brandon asked with his face getting brighter. "september." coach said before adding, "now would you please get out of my office, york."
"sure thing coach!" brandon said practically doing a victory dance out of the room.
only problem was, who was he going to get to help him this summer.
