"Why is your father like that though?" Sarah asked once we had our bellies stuffed and were already in the room, getting ready for bed.

I had to force her to tell her parents that she wasn't going to be home tonight. Mostly because I needed someone to talk to at least.

"He just wants me not to face the world in an angle most people do. As in a bad way. He wants me to see the advantage of living with skill and raw talent." I sighed as I pulled out a suit of pajamas that I hadn't ever tried on and threw it to her. "He means no harm actually. He's just being concerned of which life I'll live. Wealthy or not. So he portrays his love in a very weird way." Pulling out a nightgown from the closet, I instantly pulled it on and walked to the mirror.

Mother must have bought this because of Ash.

It's not childish like the ones she normally buys me of either sponge Bob or Gumball or strawberry shortcake. Mostly strawberry shortcake because I used to love it as a child but now she just says I look good in that colour.

"So... Does Ash know?" Sarah asked as we got onto the bed.

"He knows my father won't like him." I pointed out as I struggled to get under the covers. "He knows Adrien was picked by my dad though." Snuggling into my blanket, I shut my eyes as I spoke.

"Was he upset? He told me to back off when he offered you to watch a movie." She chuckled lightly and I knew she felt embarrassed by it.

"Oh he just wanted to talk. Or just be alone with me. He said he was scared I would love Adrien and leave him completely when we just got together." I frowned and sighed a bit as I clenched my blanket. "He really was scared..."

"He's a big softie." She chuckled then bit her lip as she glanced down at nothing in particular. "So, what happened between you two? I know it wasn't just a movie."

"Oh." I chuckled and blushed a bit as I hid inside my blanket.

"Come on tell me!" She whined as she grabbed my blanket and yanked it from me, exposing me to the slightly cold air.

"Okay!" I chuckled and bit my lower lip, looking around for a bit and then at her. "Well, we watched a movie, but half of it and I asked him if he was okay, he started talking about him being scared, then... We started kissing and... I went on an adventure on his chest." I giggled when her eyes got wide with amusement. "It turned him on though I was just trying to feel the tension on his chest... He asked me to take off my shirt too if I wanted him to take his off and things escalated from there." I blushed and glanced at her to see her reaction.

".... Did you have it!?" She squirreled in excitement and I placed my hand on my lips to indicate that she was being loud.

"No... He... Well I was so ready for him but he seemed so... Nervous and... He was hesitating so much that it took a bit of time for him to actually accept it and just as we were about to get intense my dad decided to call!" I groan in boredom and she burst out laughing and gasping in anger.

Odd way of switching moods.

"He wasn't ready!?" She asked in shock then cleared her throat. "Was he... Really turned on?"

"I felt... Something." I chewed into my inner lip. "He wanted to but he... He couldn't do it."

"He must have been scared. Boys tend to do that... Well I wouldn't know but I overheard from my big sister's friends." She said and I nodded slowly. "They said they are afraid of ruining it for you. Since some people end up hating it, it's usually the guy's fault. They said. So it's risky for a guy to just be so frank about it." She explained and I nodded once more.

"He mentioned that though." I sighed as I stroked my chin. "Right now I don't even feel like having it anymore. It was just that time and I swear, I would have regretted it. My dad would find out plus I would have broken a sacred promise I made myself not to lose myself before there's a ring on this finger." I sighed out and slapped my cheeks. "It was a sign. A good stop sign. I was so drunk in his muscles and his smirk and those dirty nasty eyes...."

"He sounds dreamy." She teased and I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the blanket and wrapped under it. "You really like him."

"I love him." I admitted as I stared into the darkness in my blanket. "But I feel like we won't be together for a long time."

"Why?" She asked and I frowned as I shut my eyes.

"He has secrets so dark that he wouldn't tell me. Adrien said he'd use them against him to break us up." I explained. "But he said it as though the secrets concerned me so I'm a bit perplexed. Like... Why wouldn't he tell me if they include me? What does he have to hide about me?"

"Maybe he's hiding a whole stack of photos that he took of you sleeping. Like he's a psychopath." She giggled and I chuckled a bit.

"I hope." I sighed out. "I'm hitting the hay sack. Goodnight Sarah."

"Goodnight Riley." She smiled and I shut my ears, sealing them.
