Lisa looked inside Jennie's apartment complex with her hands beside her face. She didn't even know if Jennie would be home.

"May I help you?"

A man came from behind Lisa spooking her.

"Yes, I would like to know where Jennie lives?"

"I'm sorry, I don't give out my residences' personal information."

"It's okay, can you ring up Jennie to let her know Lisa is here?"

"From the Kim's residence?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I'll be back quick."

Lisa waited for a little expecting Jennie to arrive, but it was the landlord again.

"She said she doesn't know a Lisa."

Lisa frowned. "Can you say Jansolisa wants to speak with her?"

"That's what she wanted you to say, she'll be right down after I tell her." The landlord laughed.

Jennie and Lisa were walking around the neighborhood park quietly. Lisa had told Jennie about the incident she had with her mother last night.

"So I have to go there for proof?"

"Yes."

"I'm not going to go."

"Why?" Lisa whined.

"What if you're just trying to kidnap me?"

"I'm not, mæ̀ is going to be really mad at me if I don't bring you as evidence."

"Mæ̀?"

"It means mom in Thai, so please, this is the second time I'm close to being beheaded because of you."

"It's your fault."

Lisa checked her wrist for the time. "Look she gave me twenty minutes to walk to your apartment, get you and walk back, I'm already five minutes overdue."

"If I refuse to go?" Jennie stopped.

"Then I won't be able to be your best friends anymore, you don't want that."

Jennie stayed silent.

Lisa gasped, "You don't want that right?"

"Jansolisa fits you perfectly, let's go."

Lisa grinned, bearing hugging Jennie. "My Jeje!"

"Get off me!" Jennie yelled, trapped between Lisa's long arms. Lisa didn't listen so she threatened her instead. "I won't go anymore!"

"Wait! I'll let go."

"Too late, I'm not going." Jennie turned to the direction of her house.

"Lisa!"

Lisa cringed at her mother's voice. Jennie also looked back, she saw Lisa getting pulled by her ear.

"Mæ̀!" Lisa winced, she pointed to over where Jennie was standing. "She's over there."

"I sent you there over thirty minutes ago!"

Jennie felt bad for Lisa, but it was too funny, she burst out laughing.

"Why are you laughing at my daughter's pain?"

Jennie stopped immediately, "Sorry Mrs. Lisa's mom, I'm the proof."

"You shouldn't laugh at your friends pain young lady."

Jennie lowered her head.

"Best friend." Lisa corrected.
