It's been about four hours and everyone is still here. Adien, Gabby, and I made our rounds to greet people and hear them say the same things over and over again.

Leaning a little closer to Adien's ear I whispered " Just smile and say thanks" while smiling the best I could. Listening to him snickering I decided to go hide in the study.

" Hey Gabs" I plopped down on the couch with Adien next to me.

"Decided to hide for a bit huh?"

"Yup" Adien and I said in unison.

* Ring * * Ring *

" Uh excuse me guys I have to take this" Gabby said getting up and walking outside to the yard.

"Okay that's weird she never leaves to answer a call. Like ever" I turned to Adien with a worried expression.

" It's probably nothing don't stress yourself" he said playing with my hair " uh yeah okay..." I zoned out

~Gabby's Pov~

"Uh excuse me guys I have to take this" with that I got up and walked out of the study through the crowd of people to the yard.

"Hello" I answered making sure Sharon wasn't eavesdropping. Knowing her she probably got suspicious when I left to answer a call which I never do.

" Yes hello is this Gabby?" A deep voice said in a rush.

"This is she"

" Ah well I'm Mr.Green and I'm calling to tell you about the photographer position in our articles. I'm aware you have applied and I have received your work"

" Oh yes, I hope you liked it" I said a little hesitant with my fingers crossed. When it came to my scholarship it also came with an opportunity to work for this paper as a photographer.

" I loved it and I would also love for you to come join us."

"Uh.." Come on Gabby say something! "Oh uh That would be incredible. Thank you so much" I said doing a happy dance since I was alone.

" Haha it's my pleasure. So I can't wait for you to fly out from London and continue to study with us"

Wait. WHAT!

" I'm sorry sir, but what do you mean 'fly out from London'?I thought I would be working from London. Since I'm moving there with my best friend"

" Did no one tell you? The job is for you to travel with our team for the first few months and then stay at our permanent offices which are located in New Zealand. But if you have other plans I guess we-"

" NO! No. I mean it's alright, I just didn't know that part. I'd still love to take the offer."

"Great. So you'll have a month after you move to get ready and handle your school, which we will help take care of. But anyways I have work to get done so congrats and I can't wait to work with you. Goodbye"

" Thanks, bye" I said without any particular emotion. With every word he said it went in one ear and out the other. I just couldn't believe what was happening. There was only one thing on my mind....
