Chapter 1

Flashback

This is it. This is what me and Gabby have been working for for the last three years. All to lead up to this one moment that will change our lives forever.

" Okay are you ready?"

"Yeah, you?"

" As much as I can be. On the count of three we both open it together"

" Alright! Ahh I'm so excited and nervous all in one"

" I know same here, but before we start I just wanna say whatever happens we're in this together. Right?"

" Hell yeah girly! We decided and planned this together. Nothing and I mean nothing can change that. Love you bestie"

" Ha ha Love you too bestie. Okay now. One!"

" Two!"

" Three!" we both yelled together and ripped open our envelopes together.

'Congratulations Sharon Stone for being accepted to The University of London on full scholarship'

" OMG I GOT ACCEPTED!!" We both yelled at the same time. " Ahhhhh!!! no way let me see" we both traded papers and began jumping up and down.

This day will change everything in our lives. I can't believe it. I started to tear a little because this was all I ever wanted and for it to be happening with my best friend who's practically my sister is amazing.

" Omg Sharon, don't cry. Come here" she engulfed me in a hug.

" Ha I'm fine. I'm just excited. We're going to London together! Ahh!!"

Three weeks later

* My Pov *

"Are you excited for today?" my mom said while walking into my almost empty room.

"Yeah of course I am" I couldn't help but sound a little upset while saying that. I couldn't help it, it's my graduation. After this I leave and I'm off to London. That just doesn't happen everyday, so as much as I am excited. I'm nervous more. My mom being as observant as she is noticed the change in the tone.

" It's going to be fine. I trust you and Gabby to be in London. And about graduation, this is what everyone has been waiting for. My last daughter to graduate high school. Oh no" *sniff* *sniff*

" Mum ha ha don't start now. It's supposed to be me who's crying. And I'm not so you can't either. Now come on we're gonna be late"

With that I got my cap and gown and went out the door to my soon-to-be old school. The drive wasn't too long since I lived only 15 minutes away, 20 with traffic. I just can't wait for the graduation/Going away party both mine and Gabby's parents are throwing because I have a surprise for everyone. The only people who know are obviously me, Gabby, my uncle, and Neil (who you'll meet later). I wanted it to be a surprise for everyone before we left because I know it would help calm some nerves of us moving. I do understand why my mom is so nervous, she has a right to be I'm 18 and I'm making such a big step into my future. But it's what I want and now it's happening without any struggles if I'm honest. Everything seems to be going okay. Within no time we were there and of course the first person I see is the person I haven't seen in a while.
