well, there you were, standing at the gate with the handle of your suitcase lightly gripped in your hand as you wait for the woman picking you up to arrive... who eventually shows up nearly minutes after your flight lands.
as she approaches you in almost an elegant manner, she gives you a warm smile and a greeting which you return with the corners of your lips turned upwards.
in the blink of an eye, you are then looking out the window of the smaller car, watching raindrops drip down it. you are sort of just spaced out until the woman in the drivers seat speaks to you.
"do you think you'll enjoy staying here?" she asks in a different language you are use to, yet you still understand because of your studying you have done in the past. as a response you nod your head and making a confirming noise. "well, you'll be staying for a bit, so i hope it is nice for you."
"thank you." you say back, then leaning back more in your seat.
once you and the woman arrive to a decently sized building, a house, you grab my luggage from the back of the vehicle and getting escorted inside. after removing your shoes and being shown to the room you will stay in, you get to unpacking... as you will be staying here for a while.
over the time you had been preparing to come to korea, you had studied the language a bit... you definitely weren't yet fluent, but you knew enough that communication would be too difficult when simple sentences were being spoke. you had only come to korea for dance, so how much speaking when it came to that would there really be involved?
you had also grew up speaking a small amount of chinese because of where you had lived in the united states. people around you would often be speaking it, so you ended up learning a bit so you could understand what they were saying... but again, you weren't completely fluent.
but now, your language skills would really be put to the test as you would be speaking both here... which was honestly slightly nerve racking for you, along with the reason you are here for.
you are in korea to dance... but not just in a dance school or class... to dance with a chinese idol the same age as you. his name is xinlong and you are actually pretty familiar with him.
you had been a fan of the group boystory for some time now, and often enjoyed listening to their music and watching their dance covers... especially xinlong's. he had always just stood out a bit to you, either it had been just his talent or... the fact it was more of an attraction thing.
but either way, you definitely had more of a pull towards him when it came to the six boys. and now, it is like a dream come true that you would be getting to opportunity to dance with him.
where you are currently staying is a house with a small family. it is sort of like a host family, just not based off of education, and more of just a safe place to stay that isn't by yourself, considering the fact you are only fifteen years of age. but, so far everyone seems fairly kind and knowledgeable about how you may not be use to everything there in korea.
but tomorrow... would be interesting, yet amazing. tomorrow you would be meeting with xinlong and other staff at his company to decide what you would be dancing together to.
as of right now though, you wanted to just relax after your awfully long flight, and just enjoy your time laying down in bed...

so... i'm dancing with a girl. but not just any girl. i'm dancing with a really, really pretty girl who just also happens to be a great dancer.
the company had agreed to letting her come to korea to dance with me after seeing her cover one of my parts in a boystory song... and immediately after i was shown this i just had this need to dance with her... so they made it happen.
it was honestly quite simple because she had involved some contact information for my company to get a connection with her, and now in a few months she will be getting a flight to come here.
to be honest though, i've... really never danced with a girl before. i mean, it shouldn't really matter though, right? it's just a dance... but with a pretty girl i've never met before-
it'll be fine though. i'm use to dancing with other people and this shouldn't be different because like i said, it's just a dance, no feelings behind it.
i mean... we will hopefully become friends though. since she's on youtube and has a bit of videos i may have watched one or two and noticed how friendly and funny she is, even if i couldn't truly understand everything, because of the fact she was speaking in english but... i'm actually pretty excited for this.

as i open my eyes, hearing my more peaceful sounding alarm go off, i yawn, then silencing it as slowly get out of bed to go out into the living room.
when i do this, i am greeted by mrs. jiang as she is making breakfast.
"good morning." i say, rubbing my eyes. she looks to me with a smile and repeating what i had said back to me in a happy tone. after she tells me i can sit down at the table, i do so, then having my food served to me.
last night i had honestly slept really well, so in the matter of minutes i was already pretty awake.
after then finishing what mrs. jiang had made me, i go back into my room to look for something to wear for the day. we would just be working on picking out a song and testing some things out, so i was told to wear something pretty comfortable and kind of warm because of the rainy weather lately and the fact the building is air conditioning. so... i just get dressed after doing some light makeup and brushing my hair.

and... now i feel like throwing up. my stomach has butterflies throughout it and i try taking deep breaths to stop myself from being so nervous... but here i am, sitting in the waiting room as my leg bounces up and down... until then i am escorted to a studio room by a taller man.
before we enter he unlocks it with a card and i take another deep breath before the door opens, revealing an adult and a boy who is sitting in the middle of the studio room...
