The sound of Brittany's phone chiming, again and again, distracted you both from the movie. While her giggles seemed to fill the room, you were becoming annoyed.

It's not that you mind her being on her phone. You're guilty of the same habit yourself. However, you know when to put yours down, and you figured that her day off today and the promise of you spending it together would mean being on your phones a little less.

You've missed her. You've been looking forward to this day. But she seemed more occupied and more intrigued by whatever was on her phone and you had to admit that it made you feel a little frustrated.

You sighed and paused the movie. Her head shot up but her thumbs remained on her phone screen.

"What is it?" She asked, clearly confused as to why you paused the movie.

"Are you even watching the movie?" You asked, annoyance laced in your voice. "I thought we were gonna watch it together but you seem to be a little distracted."

She sighed and set her phone on the arm of the couch. "You're right. I did promise that, didn't I?"

You nodded and even though you were trying to hide it, it was obvious that a tiny smile was tugging at the corners of your lips. "I've missed you. I wanna be with you today."

She smiled brightly and opened her arms up for you to crawl into, which you happily did. "I've missed you too. No more phones for the rest of the movie. I'm all yours."

Your smile was unbreakable as you kissed her lips softly, letting them linger against hers for a moment before pulling back. You reached for the remote to continue the movie but Brittany was quick to stop you.

"Wait, wait, wait."

You frowned upon hearing her words. "What?"

"We'll continue the movie in a minute. But first..." She trailed off, cupping your cheeks and pressing her lips back onto yours. You got lost in her kiss, only sighing softly when she wrapped her arm around you and pulled you onto her lap.

"I missed you. Missed your kiss. Missed the taste of your lips." She whispered against your lips, only seeming to drive you even more wild than you felt previously. "Love you." She said, pecking your lips twice before looking into your eyes.

"Love you too." You smiled before reconnecting your lips once more.
