Blues P.O.V
Waiting for Daryl was hard when all I could smell was blood. When I heard him start to yell I couldn't stay still any longer. Growling I jumped forward out of the bush and ran to Daryl. Standing in front of him I took in the scene around me.
Our deer was dead on the ground with its throat torn open and there was a dead headless walker beside. Around the clearing I now recognized the faces from the group we stay with, all but one man's but that was to be dealt with later as Daryl yelled at my to heal. I quickly stopped growling and let my fur lay flat as I made my way to Daryl's side and sat down. Looking up at Daryl I scanned him for any injuries but he was fine. Giving my head a pat he said "it's alright, at ease" so I stayed sitting well he went about yelling at an old man in out group named Dale I think and then bent down by our deer asking about saving the meat but the group agreed on not risking it.
"Damn shame" Daryl said before coming back over towards me. "Blue and I got us some squirrel though, about a dozen or so. That'll have to do." At the mention of my name and the task I accomplished earlier I sat up a bit straight and wagged my tail slightly. Daryl turned to me and patted the side of his leg singling for me to follow him so I got up and trotted to his side.
Before we could get far the head of the walker seemed to come back to its senses and starting biting at the air. "come on people what the hell" Daryl muttered as he sent a bolt into the walkers head which I ran to get and brought it back to Daryl setting it in his waiting hand. "Its gotta be the brain, don't ya'll know nothing" daryl muttered once again as we walked back into the camp in search for merel who would help Daryl skin the squirrels we had caught.
