it's been all day and i haven't heard from lawson. she was supposed to call me when she found out if she was coming or not. i knew that her and addison hung out but still, lawson never texted me.

i'm not the type to drink or smoke, it's a known thing. So at parties i just kinda watch everybody and make sure everybody's safe. I walked out of my room and into the kitchen where i saw blake handing out shots. "Who wants one?!" he screamed. i saw a girl walking up to him, she kinda looks like lawson but i don't know why she would be here without telling me. "i'll have one PLEASE." the girl said. that was her, that was her voice. "i'm blake. what's your name?" he said sliding the shot to her. "i'm lawson." she downed the shot. "nice to meet you lawson." he smiled at her. What the fuck. i'm so confused.

i walked into the kitchen and was going to talk to lawson but remembered we really aren't supposed to talk. so i texted her.

meet me in the 3rd bedroom on the right on the second floor. ASAP.

i didn't respond i just walked towards my bedroom. i saw lawson walking up the stairs and i waited a few minutes before walking up also. i opened the door and saw her looking at herself in the full length mirror. I locked the door behind me so that people wouldn't just walk in. "nice to know that you're coming tonight." i said. her head spun around and she looked at me. her hand went directly to her heart and she just stood there. "shit. noah i'm sorry! i completely forgot. i'm so sorry." she said. "it's fine i guess i just hate that i had to find you already taking shots in the kitchen with my best friend." i said. she glared at me. "why are you acting like this? where is this coming from? i was taking a shot? in the kitchen? with some guy that introduced himself to me as he poured the shot for me. i don't see a problem with that." she said. I took a deep breath and realized i was overreacting. "okay, you're right. I guess i'm just on edge about everything and i'm just convinced that something's going to happen between us." She placed her hands inside of mine, and looked up at me. "i'm sorry if you thought something else was happening, i was just stressed out because addison made me meet all the guys and all the guys girlfriends and you know how i am about new people, i just got really overwhelmed and wanted something to take the edge off." she said.  "it's okay law, i'm sorry too." i bent down to kiss her and we heard a knock on the door which scared us. "lawson!!! are you in there?" It was Addison. I unlocked the door and cracked it. She peaked her head in. "oh my gosh, i'm sorry. did interrupt something?" she asked. i pulled her arm a little and quickly locked the door behind her. "No, Noah was just scared i was gonna get with Blake apparently. I was literally just getting a shot from him." Lawson said laughing. I shook my head at her.  Addison sat down on the couch in my room, and got on her phone. "I guess i'm gonna go back out to the party. If either one of you guys need me, just text me." i said going for the door. "wait!" Lawson said jumping up after me. I turned around and she stood on her tiptoes and gave me a kiss. I smiled at her, "I love you." she said the same back and i walked out the door and back to the party.

Once noah went back out to the party  me and addison waited a few minutes before going back outside. "it's time for me to get drunk." we both said at the same time before reaching for the door handle. "No Hands" was playing when we got out there, and addison found Mads, Jaden's girlfriend and we all danced together while blake made all three of us some drinks.
